No frills burger joint /Bar . Cash only , about 15 beers on draft . Menu consists of mainly burgers . Music is good, atmosphere is awesome. Bar tenders attentive and very welcoming. 5 stars easy.
A staple of Venice, Ca. They have the best burgers and post surf breakfast burritos. This place can’t be beat if you want a local watering hole on Friday or Saturday night.
Damn. This is my kinda bar. A little high low, fast service, sawdust on the floor. Kinda just an amazing place to get a beer.Certified Old Man Scott.

The burger was average, and there are no fries, just frito lays. I got a bacon cheeseburger and was pretty underwhelmed. Good selection of beers available. I'd call it a self serve bar-- order at the counter, pick up at the counter, and order more beers at the counter.Cash only, and the bartender fusses if you don't tip every transaction.
By the time I had come in, I had a strong case of the drunchies so I could say my review is biased.My friend let me know the grill has never been cleaned (urban legend or not) the place was ran like a bar should be. A bunch of people talking sports and life, welcoming bartender, and Cheetos. Here's what gets interesting, I met this guy who claimed to be 50 but looked 28. Taken back, I questioned this but his knowledge of previous events showed he knew a lot about times long past..Is it the salt water? The burgers, or is it the beer? As I feel the hair thin on my scalp, I anxiously now wonder if the fountain of youth exists, and where in MDR is it? I've spent $$$ driving a BIRD around MDR aimlessly and yet to find the fountain, alas I"ll keep searching.I remember holding the burger, smelling it, and shoveling the warm meal into my mouth. I can't actually speak to the taste because my taste buds had disappeared after a night of drinking - but I would recommend it.
