I was a bit hesitant to visit this place because of some bad reviews and the overall appearance of the restaurant. Once inside I felt at home immediately. Great friendly service. Good vegan options for breakfast. Fresh tasty coffee. Fast service. Sunny outside seating. My breakfast burrito was one of the burritos I ever had.
This place was a lifesaver when I needed to order and pick-up a large breakfast and coffee order for a film crew. The order was submitted late the day prior to needing picked up and I was concerned that they would dismiss it as I placed it online after they closed. However, Groundwork Coffee crew on the morning of 2/14/22 (Valentine's Day) was ON IT! When I called to check-in on my order in the morning they told me it was already prepared and ready for pickup. They helped me carry items to my car, and were all super sweet with positive energy at 6AM! Also, our crew LOVED the breakfast burritos! Thank you Groundwork for making my work easier! Would recommend 10/10!
Chickenbread was not that good. Coffee was ok! Nice location.
Outdoor area is phenomenal. Staff is consistently friendly and warm, which is why I am here multiple times a week doing work or just chatting with friends. Glad this shop is in my neighborhood!
Great food and coffee by one of LA’s best roasters, but they play years-old, overplayed Top 40 hits over the radio and it’s loud, distracting, and annoying. I love the patio and I’m sure I’ll come back, but bring your headphones. Or earplugs.
It’s a cute coffee place in Venice. I had the Beehive Matcha Latte and was decent. The friend egg sandwich is pretty good. They have a nice outdoor seating too.
Staff… awesome. Food, not so good. Out of all the new local over priced hipster coffee shops I picked this one. Got the chorizo breakfast burrito with a cold brew. Cold brew was okay, nothing special. But this burrito, garbage. Potatoes were under cooked and the “chorizo” wasn’t good at all. Over seasoned. 2 stars cause the staff was nice.
I've come here to say that Tyler is the most realest, most kindest human i could wanna get my coffee from. He goes above and beyond his job and I'm grateful. Thank you Tyler.
The Goddess Bowl was delish and so was the iced mocha ??
Mikey the manager is a truly kind and wonderful person. This place is great and even better for being lead by him.
