Stay away! I was roofied here, possibly by the bartender. I have never experienced anything like it in my life. Coincidentally (or not) my friend’s purse was also stolen here on the same night as she was helping me because I was completely non-functional. Not only did they not help us, they kicked us out. When I reported this to the establishment a few days later, a manager called me to discuss with feigned concern and said they would look into it and get back to me. I never heard from her again. This place is irresponsible and careless. I have heard of other friends who have been roofied in this area of Venice (Belle’s Beach House)….be careful out there and just avoid it if you can!
We stopped here when we visited Venice beach. At first glance the place was full of the young and mostly beautiful hip crowd. We are a little older than the typical client. But after initially the male wait staff pointing and laughing at me and my husband holding hands across the table we seemed to win them over and we had a wonderful time talking to the staff and they were quite attentive to us. We had a lot of drinks and especially liked the orange wine and the cucumber cocktail. Food was very good also. All in all we had a great time here. Fun place and great vibe.
Used to be one of my favorite spots. Food and drinks are good. Design is good. Service is pretentious. Save me the lines that you are “fully committed” for the next hour for one person and a half empty bar. Sarcastic and rude host on three separate occasions. Go elsewhere.
Such a good restaurant. Great ocean vibe, nice people, beautiful Light and background music.I ordered here Octopus, burger and eggplant. My favorite is eggplant with feta, very bright mediterranean taste. It's hard to explain vibe, but these guys definately has it. Thanks for your job?
The food was incredible! My taste buds were singing! We got the octopus and tandoori oyster mushrooms and both were perfection! I used to love this spot when it was Bank of Venice, and I always worry about these rebrands and if they'll be good. This meal put all that worry to rest! This is now a new local favorite!Also, the whole wine list is natural and organic. They have some great bottles and pours by the glass.The staff is friendly and sharp. The music was fun - we were there for Saturday brunch and they had chill house/funk/disco vibes going. We dug it!Overall, it's fantastic and I can't wait to go back!
It was a nice crowd of people in the bar. The bartender where nice and friendly and the drinks where tasty
Drinks and food were okay and staff was abrupt. It definitely seemed like this place is more for the influencer crowd and not foodies. The waitress barely came back to the table for refills and you have 1.5 hours timed from your reservation to eat and get up and get out.
## BE aware THIS PLACE HAS FORGED MY CHECK TO CHARGE TIPS ##Worst pre-set menu for valentines night! No thought at all. This place was not ready to replace pork option. We end up eating cabbage and cheese on such night for a pricy charge..Too pricy to force this lame menu. No value at all for both bottle service and food offered. Even when I asked for appetizers instead of pork, they couldn’t make it. I really would recommend u look around. This place is superficial.
I’ve never been to Great White - this restaurants’ bigger sister to compare but I loved my time at Gran Blanco. We got here around 11am for brunch and it wasn’t too busy at all for a Sunday. The only difficult thing is finding cheap parking nearby.The service was very friendly and everything they recommended that we ordered was delicious. The cocktails are also very tasty! Just have to warn that the portions are on the smaller side so if you’re hungry I wouldn’t go for the fish tacos or ceviche. The French toast was delicious and very rich. I definitely would recommend to share this as a dessert with a friend. All in all perfect experience at a very pretty and vibey spot in Venice Beach.
Beautiful space, delightful staff, tasty drinks and incredible food. My husband and I shared the Mezze and absolutely loved it. We can’t wait to go back
