We apparently came the wrong day … after coming a couple of days before and finding an unexpected closed door, we finally managed to go there 2 days after…. to be told that it was re-stocking day and that they were out of many things .. As a huge matcha enthusiast I was very disappointed.. Sure the place is nice and the Iced matcha latte was good… but don’t like it when things are unreliable and the only matcha pastries they had left (the donuts) were also too expensive…
Matcha is as now as Justin Bieber was then. The promise of Michael soft serve usually produces a thin sliver of bitter, yet sweetened frozen mediocrity. Here things are better. The soft serve is smooth, though not creamy, agreeable enough and not sweet. The match flavour could be more pronounced. Overall it's a decent opening act to return for further investigation.

Extremely over the top rude staff. The cashier acted as if she was being held captive to be there, and it showed by the way she was treating customers - no greeting, no mention of the pricing (literally points at the screen to signal you to pay), no taking of names or orders and common courtesy is just not in her vocabulary. There was a barista who was pouring way more milk than matcha into the drinks and a second staff member who’s job seemed to just look at customers and yell out drink orders but not names. They got my drink wrong and put in whole milk which I couldn’t have in the end. Asked them to remake the right order but the cashier ignored me three times. Felt like I was wasting my life in there trying to deal with three staff members who absolutely hate being at Cha Cha Matcha. It’s a shame as we were scouting a new cafe to buy weekly team drinks and it seems like the staff here would absolutely hate big group orders as they already seem to despise individual customers. Look elsewhere.
Happened to walk by this place the other day and it was a nice treat. I had the matcha latte and it was really good.Cute indoor seating area and you're right off Abbot Kinney.I guess I should of known by the name but did not realize everything was matcha vs. espresso or coffee. Ie; menu says latte but it's matcha.Overall nice experience. Worth stopping at if you're shopping or walking around in the area.
5-star spot! The matcha is high quality tasting and the environment cannot be beat! The pink interior is so beautiful and just warms your soul! The staff is so friendly and will help you if you don't know what to get. The merchandise is so cool, I wish I could buy every shirt and sweatshirt they come out with!I like to order an iced matcha water because it is so clean and refreshing! If you are in LA, check this place out while walking Abbot Kinney!
Cool place I had the soft serve but I think I got cheated look great outside but the soft serve is hollow inside
