The only thing I can say about Pollo loco is that the chicken is small so it doesn't look like they're on steroids like some of the chicken breasts from other places. The three tacos Al carbon or the chicken tostadas are pretty good, not great, but a fair price.
Chefs and some cashiers are somewhat fair but usually the food is extremely messy when there's no customers. Foods like wraps never really come properly made. Yeah the garlic is good but overall everything is just awful. Wish it was like before.

What use to be a great place is now much much less so. You wait to place your order on the phone, you wait when you get there because it is never ready--and when I mean wait I mean like 30 to 45 minutes--makes me insane, they have raised prices very substantially, and they are now stingy with the extras ie pita bread and garlic. Last straw is just went in after ordering on phone and was told as I paid it would be right up and I waited 45 minutes. Totally unacceptable. Life is too short--after many years of coming here, I am moving on to the many other restaurants in the area that serve same type of food.
Zankou chicken saved my Thanksgiving this year. I didn't want to cook so I bought 2 chickens. My whole family was happy specially with their white garlic sauce. Thank you Zankou. ??
Food is great, but hard not to lose your mind in this place with how long it takes to get an order. Placed a phone order 40 mins before i showed up and waited another 30 once i got there. Always a minimum of 30 mins.
I've loved Zankou for years & it's always been great. But I never tried this location!It was horrible! Our tomatoes weren't hardly grilled. Our kabobs chicken & lule were over cooked and charred burnt & dry. Really disappointed in this Zankou location. for bad dried food. Do betterVan Nuys!!!! Two meals over $40
