This is a "ghost kitchen", which i didnt know existed, but came into popularity during the pandemic, combined with meal delivery services like Grub Hub. The chef, Lance Toro, is so friendly, and has a real passion for providing a superior culinary meal. He makes fresh sourdough bread daily, which he uses for his sandwich prep and croutons. He smokes Chicken daily, as well as other meats as needed, also for meal prep.I ordered chicken with smoked Gouda panini... amazing!! Also ordered Turkey chili... also awesome ? i will be back, probably to try everything else on the menu. This is a nice lunch-type business, but I think Chef Lance can accommodaye any request, with a little advanced notice
It’s amazing. Seriously, amazing. Paninis, soup, bread, all of it. Flavors are the perfect combination of complex and understated. Good portions, and tastes homemade. Do yourself a favor and go here.
Everyone is so nice here! They serve the best buttermilk bathed bone and Korean boneless chicken tenders! The food tastes fresh and the price is very reasonable as well. Check them out you won’t regret it.
You know how you see that fresh bread truck driving through France? People buying their weekly bread? Good news!!! We have one in Oak Park! BEST SOURDOUGH EVER! That’s what I started with. My family is in love with soup night! His tomato soup is next level. I love that I can pre order. I look forward to “ fresh sourdough Sunday’s” I love that they are a local family and will always support their small, delicious business.
I kept seeing photos of the bread rolls and soups from Wantz & Kneads through friends in my school community and HAD to try it myself. I showed my family photos of their food and they were dying to try some too! We picked up a rosemary sourdough roll, chicken and rice soup, and some bruschetta and it was hands down the best bruschetta and homemade bread we’ve ever had! The huge role was out in two days and our family is not that big haha. They also kindly delivered us a classic sourdough roll free of charge as it was out when we ordered from the sidewalk sale and that too is all we’ve been eating! This team is nothing but genius in the kitchen and the sweetest of people who really care about their clients. I could rave on about Wantz & Kneads but you should try it yourself and see
Ordered a Classic Sourdough Boule and it arrived the next day! Best I’ve ever had and looks so pretty too.
