The staff is friendly and the prices are pretty reasonable. It's not the greatest Japanese cuisine you're gonna have but it's worth a visit in my opinion. Avoid the shrimp skewers as the shrimp themselves are very small. Stick to chicken or beef. I look forward to visiting again to try their chicken katsu and tempura shrimp which look much bigger.
Tried the Steak and Chicken (#8). The chicken was a dry and everything was generally over cooked but the flavor was still quite enjoyable. Particularly with the teriyaki sauce and chili oil.Overall, I would say if you're craving a teriyaki bowl and are in the area this is a decent spot to visit.
I had the combo plate, which had steak, chicken and shrimp. It was fresh and good.

I love this place! I’ve been living in Van Nuys for almost 7 years and I’ve been coming here since then. Always a good meal, fair price and great people working hard. A great intro is their katsu or tori bowls. Filling and yummers! I’m a fan of the special #12, that’s my go to!
