Great place for an Armenian style pizza! Drinks selection is ok for a takeout place. Clean and friendly. Good prices. Recommend visiting at lunch time when there is lots of fresh produce coming out of the ovens.
Lahmajune heaven! If you have never tried it you really should and I doubt you will order a pizza for lunch again. These are so cheap but great quality. My friend once said he would not try as it didn't look appealing but it does not matter what they look like, once he tasted his first he was hooked and mow we regularly go here when we hook up
Sasoun is the best! Awesome bakery coupled with supreme customer service. I was very pleased with my order which was served quickly despite a small line. 5/5 recommend! I will certainly be coming to Sasoun again.
Wonderful bakery in Van Nuys. Always stocked with tasty goods that are cheap and filling. Nice folks who run the place. Tasty food and good service. I was in to buy a section of goodies to take back to the office for a team meeting. There was a little line and it went down quickly thanks to some neat customer care. These guys look so organized. I ordered a bit of everything and was share for a working lunch. We all agreed that the cheese beorek was the highlight and the meat eaters loved the lahmajune. I will def use again.
Lots of places in LA make lahmajune but few do it as good as Sasoun. I don’t know much about the bakery but I believe it is family run and you can tell. You get that personal touch when you enter the bakery and the recipes taste genuine and true to original recipes. Try to offer this great team your support.
The best lahmahune I have tasted in a ling time. Sometimes the dough can be very soggy but this bakery gets it spot on. Beautiful ingredients. If you love Armenian/Middle Eastern food I highly recommend this place. Staff are very friendly and polite. Cheap and very cheerful food.
I pop in at least once every two weeks for a cheorek fix! They are small cookies filled with nuts and dates and they taste amazing with coffee! So delicious and my go-to afternoon treat. Be careful once you buy, you will be hooked. Love the team at Sasoun.
The place was very nice and clean with a lovely smell, as you would imagine. Great selection of baked good. Mainly savory but there are a couple of sweet options. The Iahmajune is what most people go to buy as it it tastes soooo good. Lovely people and lovely, honest food.
My first time trying Mediterranean food and what can I say, the dishes were authentic and so delicious, especially the Fattoush Salad . Loved it so much. I will definitely recommend to my friends.
