Attended a graduation party this past Friday and Okomoto Kitchen catered. BEST IDEA EVER!!!!There were four appetizer and four entrée options to choose from. Went with the sushi burrito and the potato balls and it did not disappoint. Portions were filling, the ratio of fish and avocado to the rice wrap was perfect and each bite was balanced.The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the catering team were absolute professionals.Would definitely recommend Okomoto Kitchen for catering events.
Just give up if you are not even going to try... I waited so long to place an order (pre-order) online and it was not ready for until 30 minutes after pick up. How can you screw up a order I placed the day before? How can you not be prepared to cook if that's your business?The food is terrible. Rice was dry as could be and the "sushi" burrito was mostly just dry rice. Their prices keep going up and up. Also the egg on one of the burgers I ordered was plastic. Like I think they accidentally put the display egg on my burger it was so chewy.Personally, I'd suggest going to your local spot for Japanese fusion cuisine because this place will make you regret spending your money.This place was great before the pandemic but they are not worth the price anymore.
You guys have great tasty food, I really love all of your none fish items (because I have minor allergies to seafood). The only problems I have had with the food would be the cross catamination that I had with you fried chicken, it had a fishy like taste despite the fact that the first time I ordered one it had a normal chicken taste. Sometimes your chicken is a little under cooked as well. I do think you guys are getting to much hate lately hope this review helps. Again I really like your food.
I always make sure to hit up these guys whenever they're in Glassell Park. The food is amazing and different from any other food I'm usually able to find in my neighborhood. Honestly wish they would come by more often! The takoyaki is out of this world, and the Bird of Fire sandwich is ACTUALLY spicy. So good. Be sure to hit these guys up when they come through!
Started to consistently falsely advertise regarding delivery to locations on their site and social media since last year. I used to be a big fan, but when you lie to your customers about things, who are unable to do pick-up, it's pretty trashy. Sure, if you can drive to them it's great. But stop advertising for delivery when you don't actually deliver, and haven't since 2020 and before.
Just had a Goku Burger for the first time today.... WOW!! The perfect amount of sweet, savory heat and super filling. Wish I had ordered 2, A+++
Delicious food and the owners are really great. Highly recommend their combo bowl or yanki burger! Their specialty drinks are great too!
Love this truck and have followed them for Years.it is always a treat when they park in Burbank and my schedule allows me to indulge.ALWAYS order online ahead of time, they make it easy and straightforward.
My partner and I order from Okamoto every time they're in Santa Clarita. I love that their menu switches up every few weeks so I get to try something new, but it's nice for my partner who's a little more picky because he's obsessed with the Nom Bomb and always orders 2 (one for now, one for later!)
