The food was so yummy, I went a couple of times and enjoyed it every time. The only thing is the ladies working there don’t seem to be very nice, other than that it was good.
Walked in, nostalgia sets in. There's all kinds of Guatemalan bread, for merienda time, Cafe con pan. They also have serious home style foods and yummy snacks. ?
Food and bakery are ok in flavor, price very high. Customer service is terrible, mostly from a lady with green eyes. She used to be nice when she was a regular employee, now that she is in charge she is very rude and arrogant. Not too long ago I was in line when I witness how she mistreated the other employees, yelling at them.Last time I was there to purchase bread I asked to have couple of tamales to go and she told me in a very rude manner that she couldn't serve food, since there is another separate section to do so; a very long line that is aleays slow as heck. However, I did not say much and after finishing my purchase I went to place myself in line to get the tamales. I was very dissapointed when I noticed that she dispensed coffee, fountain drinks, and an ítem from the food section to a man that stood behind me in the line specifitly for bread purchase, according to the lady. I got really mad and left without any tamales. This is not my first time buying food from this location, but by far this is the most upsetting one.
I've been here before and the food was great, however this last time the black beans were extremely salty. They really missed a mark on that one. Maybe I'll ask for a sample next time before I actually make a purchase.
First timer and I'm hooked, everything was so good but I especially loved their 'popusas' and their 'rellenitos'. I'm so happy this place isn't too too far from me and that it has clean seperate restrooms inside for both men and women.
Friendly staff, great food. Affordable.
Yesterday- it was half the people as it always is. The manager herself help me out. She needs to pay attention to detail! I asked for Hojaldra and she gave me Champuradas! The Chao Main was all noodles and 4 pieces of red peppers with NO VEGGIES! She did not show me the Chao Main nor the Champuradas or those would have been fixed asap and this customer would not write this review! Need to do better customer service and pay more attention to details on the customer needs!
The customer service here is so bad. It’s disheartening because it’s suppose to be a one stop shop for everything Guatemalan products. There is even a vendor next door with clothes and artesian items. We go here because of the convenience of bread and food. And it’s local to all family members. But honestly, I stopped going myself personally. The service makes the meal taste bad. The head server, the lady with blue eyes seems like a colorist. A strong reason I no longer go. I witnessed her level of customer service changed with the shade of people’s skin. Many servers have bad attitudes. The parking is difficult. The lines are very long. But due to the traffic of people it can’t be helped. It’s just annoying, so prepare to wait a while during peak hours. The restrooms for the most part are very clean, but it’s a 50/50 chance there is no soap/napkins or toilet seat covers. A few instances only 1 stall had toilet paper. Overall, if you don’t care about minimal customer service, place has decent food, variety, convenience of bread and other Guatemalan products. It’s reasonably priced. But the multiple experiences there made me no longer want to spend my money there. I just go when we have family gatherings.
the food very good and quite a variety but the coffe the worst I've ever had the service is too slow and rude the employees need to learn manners
great food & staff ... The is fresh & the bakery is outstanding. we need one in the Coachella Valley.
