I ate here last September. It was my first outing femme presenting (I’m a trans woman) and I was treated with respect and kindness. The food was absolutely amazing- I live in Oklahoma, and I think about the breakfast burrito I had that morning at least once a week. Next time I’m in Van Nuys I will be back!!!
Loved it. Friendly service and the food was great (check out the berries and spinach salad, pure bliss)
This is a super cute cafe type spot that was very unexpected! The location isn’t the very best but once you step inside it’s a fun kind of kitschy farm theme that has great food (shout out to the avo toast w/ the heavenly potatoes) and plenty of seating!!Brunch in the Valley can be hard to get into without a wait and this is a little hidden gem. Coffee options could be more fun but they’ve got the necessities!
Adorable restaurant, super cute and cozy. I ordered the chocolate, banana latte and it was unique and tasted just as you’d expect. I asked for the most popular item, which was the breakfast burrito. I have to preface this review by saying I love flavorful and ethnic foods. The breakfast burrito lacked flavor but was decent. I wouldn’t order it again. Perhaps more seasoning for all the ingredients in the burrito and it could have been a knock out dish. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The place was pretty empty, which probably speaks to the flavor of the food.
The food was very good and the staff was very polite. That said, it's a little pricey for a lunch place ($20 per person) and there's only street parking. Enjoyed our dini g experience, but this won't be a place I'd run back to.
I'm not sure what happened to this place. This used to be one of our favorite local restaurants for amazing burgers and sandwiches, but recently their quality has taken an absolute nosedive. We ordered the blue cheese burgers and it was missing half of the listed ingredients (They tried to use a tiny bit of basil instead of the listed arugula, there were no caramelized onions and they used regular mayo instead of aioli). When we went to complain they handed us more flavorless, wilted basil (which was supposed to be arugula...) and after one more complaint they gave us a tiny portion of cooked arugula that was drenched in oil.The burger itself was flavorless and the patty did not taste like regular beef. We couldn't put our finger on what was off but it tasted more like a breakfast sausage or really low quality frozen patty instead of something fresh. The worst part was that they're trying to charge 15-20 dollars for each tiny burger and fries. We will never be coming back unfortunately and I can't recommend coming here.
Over priced, not even close to the menu descriptionPicture on the right restaurant menuPicture on the left is what It actually looks likeNot looking forward to going back
It lives up to its name. Fresh eggs potato bacon bread. Everything was fresh and delicious. Will come back again and try something else on their menu.
we came in a company of 4 to have breakfast. we waited for no order for 30 minutes, and they brought us only half of the order, packed to go. but when we orderd, we said that we would eat in the cafe. the waiter said that the new serving of our order will take another 20-30 minutes and that we had better take our order like that. when we got the second half of the order there was fresh food. but the first one was net fresh.
Amazing food, no wait, no crowd and good service. The coffee is the best I’ve had in LA.
