Probably one of the best, if not the best Sub shops in te San Fernando Valley! Don't let the looks shy you away, it's literally a whole in the wall that has served delicious subs for more then 40+ years!!
One of the best sandwich shops we’ve been to! Definitely a must-stop when in this area. The pastrami and turkey subs were both delicious, and we highly recommend getting ALL the toppings! Absolutely coming back here!
The subs here are ~decent. Their style of subs is definitely "west coast". We got the Italian sub and it came with pickles on it, which was different for me.Overall, it was good.Note: If you're driving here... best of luck finding parking lolBonus: The subs are huge.
The relish they use on their sandwiches is amazing. I had the pepper steak for the first time and it was delicious. The Italian cold cut was good, but the warm sandwiches make the bread softer.
Really enjoyed my first visit to this neighborhood classic! The pastrami is spectacular. I enjoyed their style with fresh toppings. Looking forward to exploring the menu.
Still the best sub shop I've ever eaten at. Left LA 8 years ago to take care of my dad.....but will return this year and will go from the airport to DeFrankos. Love the way they cut their toppings, onions, pickles,tomatoes .....The Italian with everything is the best sandwich I've ever had.
Arrive before the lunch rush or prepare to wait 30min for your sub. Regardless, it will be worth it. The pastrami always hits the spot, the turkey is delicious, the rolls are always fresh & tasty. I always order the “veggies” on the side & add them as I eat; eating the sub with the veggies in it is messier. The turkey can be ordered hot too & there are salad options. The little shack turns out some delicious subs day after day.
Best sandwich around Cali so happy to see they survived covid.Small place they have like 4 chairs at the counter great, great, great however dinning is closed for now you can still call or get curbside.Must go you will be pleased ??
