5 stars for the food and the service, but the mood is set to low as though it actually deserves a 4 star rating because the staff aren't bringing their best. I am not torn about the 5 stars given, but comprehensive in that my rating is not total.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants, if not our favorite. Something happened a few months ago and they were closed more than they were open and often closed during posted hours. We figured they were having trouble but wanted to support and kept going back. They had new staff. The food was still wonderful but the new staff was not well trained. Once, 2 of the 3 people at the front did not know that dark meat is leg and thigh, not breast and wing. Ok. We can deal with that. Visited a few mire times and were happy when they were open. Started noticing staff wearing masks improperly, loose and nose exposed. On our last visit, had a coupon that clearly said "30% off any purchase of $15 or more." Ordered two 3-piece dark. Almost $20. They would not honor the coupon! They insisted that they couldn't because it was 2 meals. What??? You don't understand your own coupon!! We said never mind and start to leave. She calls me back and says she'll do something for me "just this time." She will let us each order a meal and give us the 30% as long as each of us orders a meal over $15. Are you serious??? You only have one thing that expensive on the menu, and we don't want ribs. We want chicken! Walked away and never went back. I don't care what kind of coupons you send me if your staff doesn't understand them and doesn't honor them.

I was at Boston Market around 11:30 am on 3/24. Neat and clean place and fresh food.The Manager was training a new cashier with knowledge, patience, and kindness. Also, she took time to walk me through the side dishes for it was my first time there.The young man who was serving the food did it with care and cleanness. He even brought my take out order to the table I was waiting for.I had 1/2 Sweet Thai Chicken with red potatoes and mac and cheese. Delicious ?Outstanding customer service and yummy food. Highly recommended to visit!

The Boston market near my home closed(Santa Clarita), used to eat there 2 or 3 times a week so I was pretty disappointed.Just found out Van Nuys was still open, had lunch there today & it was excellent!! Perfect lunch!Used the activemenu app, great experience!

Urgh! Most of the Boston Markets have closed and this is the only one left in the Valley. Very friendly staff and the food is always excellent. I wish this was closer to where I live in!

last week I received coupon valid for 3 days. Got to the store. Found that the store was closed for two of those days and would not open till coupon expired. Now today received another coupon valid for yesterday and today. Go to call in an order and everything about the store is closed. Google maps their phone number. The closest other store to me is over 21 miles away. I don't understand. So disappointed

This is the worst store ever. They open and close whoever they feel like it. Website shows they are open Wednesday and allows for online orders. When I arrived at the store they are closed. No signs nothing

I went to Boston Market to pick up my order that I ordered on line 2 days ago. My pick up time was 11:00 - 11:15. They open at 11:00am. I got there at 11:20, the doors were locked and they said they were closed. I told them I had an order to pick up, OH! they said and finally let me in. No one helped us for 5 of so minutes. 3 employees just kept walking back and forth in front of us.There was a young man there, he said this was his 3rd week and there was another older man there. The older man just kept walking back and forth - would not say anything. The younger man clearly has not been trained to do anything. He to, just walked around. We told him we needed to pick up our order and he discussed this with the MANAGER, who could not find our order. The manager asked us what our order was. Finally some woman came out from the back and said to the other employee that she would get our order ready. We waited again. The MANAGER came out to put our items in a bag, he did and then proceeded to tell me this was our entire order and gesturing for us to leave. I watched him bag it and I knew it was not all of it. I told him to check again, he looked in the bag and said, yeah that's it! I said that is NOT it, please go look at the order form and see what I ordered. They finally figured out what 2 items were missing and got them.SO Unprofessional! Unorganized! Rude! Unhelpful! MANAGER! That's a JOKE !!! hahahaha.Needless to say I do not recommend this location nor will I ever go there again.

I didn't get an opportunity to experience anything but walking in and walking out. It seems that they were taking online pickups. I wasn't aware of that. I drove a nice distance to get there. I was disappointed but it was a lesson learned. I wanted some creamed spinach. It turns out that they didn't have any anyway. And for these reasons I will give them 3 stars. I should have checked the website or called. Again, lesson learned.

I still think the BEST chicken not to salty ,over cook , good size meal,I had macaroni with very creame cheese great, and spinach dip , they probably make their cornbread with the recipe from heaven, my friend beg me for it, Good job Boston!!!!!!!
