I've been wanting to get tacos from here for a long time. Stopped today and got one queso and one plain. They came nicely packed with two salsas and they were delicious. They were full of meat and I enjoyed them very much.
Amazing little hole in the wall spot. It is literally just a take out window. The tacos and burritos are all delicious. Big portions!
I ordered the birria ramen which was unique but so good. The flavors in the birria are amazing - extremely flavorful! But hands down the best thing was the horchata! I haven't had horchata like that in a looooong time. A lot of places water down their horchata or use mixes. The one here? Legit tasted like arroz con leche. Just for the horchata I would give it 5 stars
Quick story, my wife was craving tacos and so I went to our usual place just to find out it was closed for the night. I looked up places and saw this place on the map and drove hoping it'd be open.Not only was it open but a full staff was in there preparing for the following day.I picked up a combo plate, and 4 tacos. My wife was still expecting our usual tacos.When I got home and she opened up the box, her first words were "oh hell yeah". She took a bite and said "oh my God, fk yeah!"I want to try the mulitas next, and a breakfast burrito. It was delicious and we will be visiting more often.
Some nights when it’s late and the munchies hit, I lay awake thinking about the tacos at Birrieria San Marcos. These are by far the best Birria tacos I have had from California to New York!I stood in the line, waited patiently for my order and then I was in heaven. You can taste the love and and passion these tacos are made with in every bite. The consume is dripping with flavor and elevates the equally flavorful tacos to another level. I love the cool tartness of the radishes served along side fresh pico. Eating these delicious tacos under the LA sun is peak happiness for me.I can’t wait for my next trip back home to my beloved home state of California. I’m coming back for your Birrieria San Marcos! The food is ok if you eat it right away. Unfortunately taking it to go makes the fat/grease solidify and if u get something with tortillas they get soggie. Very expensive food. About $25 for a meal. Try the taco trucks; better prices & you actually get outside dining. This restaurant doesn't have Any kind of seating, none inside or outside. The advertisements are great but this type of food you need to be eating at the moment not for later.
Very unique and a great spot for birrieria in the area. It's a small storefront, but is always packed. Get ready to see a line, but it's actually really quick to order and the food comes out quick.I'd definitely recommend getting the queso tacos and the crunchy tacos for dipping, but the regular tacos are great as well!Expensive for tacos, but not bad for birrieria. Worth a try!
