I will say it was the worth experience I had in long time .yes we arrived in last half hour of restaurant. And before we ask bro be seated we ask if it still ok to come in. Service was just ok. .I ordered - Cesar salat .It is simple as it can get .I got it it had only few green parts of salat and rest was hard yellow hearts . Let’s say left over of salat. And as I say I know it was end of week and end of day but still!I think every customer should receive the same service and the same food as first customer or last customer!Will I recommend your place - no!Will I think twice to come back here - no!
Had dinner here last Friday, 05/20/22 and I'm so happy Zio survived the pandemic. This is one of my family's favorite restaurant to go to for special occasions. This restaurant has a beautiful look inside & out. For starters we ordered the Calamari Fritti & Ahi Tuna Tartare. If you like raw fish, I recommend you start off with that! Then, I tried their Beet Salad...it was good but the salad was so drenched in the balsamic dressing I couldn't finish my salad as much as I wanted too. In the future, I probably will ask for the dressing on the side. As for our entrees, I had their special which was the Prime Rib w/mashed potatoes & vegetables. My husband had the Chicken Gordon Bleu. Both dishes were delicious!! We ended our meal with a decadent cheesecake...Love this place! ?05/28/22 - Had to go back and get the Beet salad w/ the dressing on the side..?

Long time Vallejo establishment. Recently removed the table cloths to save a reported $60k a year in laundry cost. Staff wears uniforms. Building interior layout a bit of a maze. Basically American fare for the menu, sandwiches burgers steaks pasta salads pork chicken seafood choices. Dined in this time, but have been in outdoor seating in the past.
First night of the new menu; Garlic Shrimp, Calamari Steak, Clam Chowder, Grilled Trout were ALL very tasty. There were 6 of us and nobody had any complaints.
We had our Family Christmas banquet here.The banquet room was beautifully decorated and the staff were top notch. Professional, friendly and thorough.This was our 2nd year having Christmas here and we are all thankful that Zio Fraedo's could accommodate us.
By far a Vallejo favorite. High quality presentation, and great customer service. Americana menu has a lot to choose from. Great wine selection. Nice desserts. Very friendly staff. Cool location overlooking the harbor.
We had dinner at this restaurant. The place is located on the harbor and probably had a good daylight view (we were there after dark). The restaurant decor was rather bland, with older style furniture and poor lighting. However the food was great and the service was excellent . Their wine list was more than adequate with a couple of good wines by the glass. I would definitely try them again.
I don't often leave negative reviews, however unfortunately in this case, I feel it's necessary.Made Thanksgiving dinner reservations, a couple of weeks in advance, 5 pm for our family of 6. Our entire bill was just under $350.We were seated in the "banquet room". Our server seemed a bit inexperienced when it came to the proper way to cork and serve red wine. If the restaurant chooses to charge higher end prices and an additional "cork/serve fee" per bottle, service should reflect it. Also, halfway through our dinner, the staff was instructed to fold up unused tables and chairs, which they did in a hurry and very loudly. This went on through the remainder of our dinner. All dinner conversations were difficult to carry on due to the noise.After a quick chat with our server before ordering our second bottle of wine, she promised to step up service. I don't blame her at all. I blame management/owners for not being on top of quality control.Now for the positive..... The food was absolutely top notch! So much flavor packed into the portions served. We walked away with more than a couple of to-go boxes. The wine, beer and booze selection was great! Something for everyone.....Overall our experience was so-so.... The quality of food made up for the short comings of our Thanksgiving dinner experience.I give Zio Fraedos 3 stars for my most recent visit as previous visits were absolutely enjoyable. Future visits may change my mind on my overall rating. I will definitely come back again and hopefully receive top notch service that all the locals rave about.
There for a group dinner..appetizers, salmon and cheesecake were excellent.. service was also excellent. Been here several times with a large group and always good. Never been here just as a single or a couple.
