When you finally find this place tucked away in the back parking lot of a marina... what feels like your lost you might ask yourself "that's it"?As you enter you won't be impressed with new furniture or fancy table prep. But from the moment your greeted to your very first bite you feel like this is the place you been to a thousand times. What a great little dive on the water in Vallejo. Hidden little gem, friendly service food was excellent. Had some really great Cioppino as the breeze from the bay cooled the summer heat. Definitely a go back restaurant for me.

ciopinno was as good as anything at SF fisherman's wharf. Cocktails also!Superb bloody Mary.

Friendly staff, great food, quality draft beer and cocktail selections. Location is nice with ample parking. Security guards roam the lot and nearby areas. Watched the sunset from here while I ate, if I'm ever passing through Vallejo again I'll be sure to stop by!

My wife & I wanted to have lunch along the Marina in Vallejo on Saturday, March 5, 2022. There was a choice between Zio Fraedos or he Sardine Can. Unfortunately, we choose The Sardine Can. We ordered the crab louie (even thought it cost $30) and the clam chowder. I was looking forward to a nice, fresh crab louie since I have not had one in years but we were extremely dissapointed. It came with some greens (looked like the same mixed greens we get at Costco), four slices of a wilted tomatoe, an old grey colored hard boiled egg and tasteless crab. It was the worst salad I have ever had. In addition, it was so small that I could cup the entire salad in my hand. The clam chowder was thin and oily; you could actually see the separation of the oil; one of the worst clam chowders I have ever had. The only thing good was the waitress. We did not complain since she was very nice. The Sardine Can is one of the worst restaurants we have ever been to. Now, the city of Vallejo leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Great ambiance. Really friendly servers. A great classic local vibe.Cioppino could of been better but the clam chower was satisfying.

A favorite hole in the wall kind of place. Good fish n chips and a new menu which looks really good. I started going there >30 years ago when a former Boomer Submarine Cook was the Chef. Still very good eats.

Great little family owned restaurant great service. Delicious burger, ciopinno was as good as anything at SF fisherman's wharf. Cocktails also!Superb bloody Mary.We need more small family owned restaurants like this one.

Very busy! But worth the wait. Be patient! Good food and great service.

Nice set up. Clam chowder was good. Drinks were good.

Great Ambiance. Excellent menu choices, food beautifully served. Been there lots of times.. We have both dined in and dined out, depending on weather. Never disappointed. Photo is view from our table.
