The best coffee I’ve had in so long!! Barista was so nice and sweet! Such a lovely person! My bf and I got 2 vegan burritos, lavender white mocha latte and a pumpkin spice latte! The burritos were so good and very big burrito for the price - we could not finish it so we can’t wait to eat it later today. Very affordable coffee, even with the oat milk upcharge! Definitely coming here again before we leave ?
I was looking for a last minute coffee the morning before I had to drive back south. Found this local coffee shop and was so so grateful. Truly delicious coffee. We order bagels to go and they had put the cream cheese on them as well as pre cut them, which made it so much easier to get in the car and quickly eat you bagel and drink your coffee. Locally black owned coffee shop, 100% recommend.
I love The Grind, rather I really really want to. Please, try them for yourself and be relaxed in your expectations. The friendly and clean atmosphere is great and I love supporting these folks. I’m hoping this review can be helpful, primarily to the good folks at The Grind. I’ve never actually received my food and beverages correctly as ordered, and to be clear I’m not being hella custom, just ordering standard menu items. Tried ordering on the web so they have it clearly written, tried ordering in person and waiting. I don’t like the flavors of some of the ingredients, like the choice of sausage or the cook on the eggs, but that’s a personal preference so nbd I can avoid that. We’ve spent $30+ on 5 occasions and have now conceded defeat. Last time my bagel order was missing a key ingredient and my “iced coffee” was so nasty I chose a caffeine headache instead of trying to drink it (hot coffee had a few ice cubes thrown into the cup leaving a terrible temperature, bad tasting, diluted and ultimately un-drinkable result, my not picky wife confirmed and it got poured out). I’m also not one to raise a fuss in person, so I’ve never called or gone back in about it. Maybe they would respond wonderfully but I’m not the one who’ll find out. I usually just ghost, but with The Grind I actually care enough to hope they might want to know and maybe try to adjust. But if they stay busy it’s just not for me and I’m still glad they’re there for the rest!

The food and drinks are great! My favorite coffee drink is the caramel machiatto with oatmilk! The service is even better - Tiffany always makes me feel welcome when I come in!
The prices were fairly high, and the food was definitely subpar. I bought a breakfast burrito and ended up throwing half of it away because the eggs were scalded and I got tired of picking them out of the burrito. I won't be going there again.
Amazing hospitality, good coffee, and the biggest, flavor-packed breakfast burrito you’ll find in CA. Stopped through on a 9 hour road trip, but would drive hours again to come back. Thank you, The Grind Cafe!!
