Visited your location on 07-21-22. I received really poor customer service the last time I was in here. I won't be coming back again because of it. Nor will my family and friends. Employee was extremely rude to me when I came to pick up my order. It seemed like she was not happy about something or having a bad day. I'm not sure. But good luck teaching your employees on how to provide great customer service.UPDATE: Then there needs to be proper training amongst ALL of your employees. Not one person ends up being trained properly then the others are not. Consistency is KEY. Balance is key. If not, then this ultimately ends up being the fault of the business NOT the consumer.Additionally, after her rude behavior was initially commenced, she continued to be rude to me after I came back and asked for some soy sauce which your business also consistently forgets about as well. Just seems to me that proper training needs to be better implemented.It takes only one bad experience for a consumer along with other consumers to not want to return. I would advise you to put more focus on the overall training of your employees in regards to customer service. Especially if they are interested in a pay check. Thank you for your time and understanding that if you don't have any consumers, you don't have a business.
Rice was undercooked and hard, sloppy rolls that fell apart, watery miso soup, and had to wait almost an hour for my to go order that was supposed to take 30 minutes.. A total waste of time and money. This place used to be decent, but has definitely gone downhill.
Want to love this place so bad because it's family owned! The sushi is just pretty good. Just wish the rice was more like sushi rice, ours was plain white rice a little on the drier side. My cookies and cream blended boba had a whole plastic wrapper blended into it. So every other sip I was peeling plastic off my tongue. I think I would still come back to give it another shot but wish it could be a bit better.
Called in to verify no reservations were needed. The young lady was courteous and helpful. Walked in roughly 530pm. They had a few people waiting for pickup so we sat at one of a few tables near the bar type seating and front windows. Once we realised it was a walk up order then sit situation vs a sit down come take your order casual restaurant style we gathered our combined order for three. We ordered Nigori Sho Chiku Bai Sake. Pineapple/mango boba, strawberry/matcha and A strawberry/pineapple boba. We got cucumber salads, Cali rolls, deep fried Cali roll, Tamago Maki, A chicken Teriyaki Bento Box w/gyoza, Sunomono, Veggie Yakisoba and to try the Thursday Special ($.99 each) we grabbed a few Spam Musubi.We stayed in to dine. The restaurant felt a bit cramped with only a few people in there.The only real complaint I have is that most sushi places I've been to run a tab for you like a bar.. ie: sushi bar. I usually spend 200 just taking my time enjoying everything. But Sushi Obsession runs like a "fast food/take out" style. I was a smidge disappointed but only for the minor inconvenience of having to order and pay multiple times.On to the whole reason for the visit... the food!I loved every bite! It was made perfectly! I am a huge fan of flying fish roe (tobiko) so I got 3 of those. The cali roll was a cali roll. But the deep fried cali roll was- Wow!! The Spam Musubi was good even if Spam isnt my thing. The yakisoba came to the table as we were packing up because I forgot I ordered it. But I had made 3 orders at that point.(it did not take a long time to get to us)I also tried boba for the first time & while the drink its self (pineapple/mango) was delicious- I learned boba was not something I liked. I am glad we gave it a chance and we will definitely be back.
I love their hot cheeto masubi. Customer service is wonderful. The team keeps busy cleaning, putting together orders to maintain ? efficiency, they're fast and also friendly which is a major plus. Check their website they also have a special if you're ordering online for your first time and they also have a special for every day of the week. I wish I knew the girls names who were working tonight. 3/14
So delicious food! And the prices are very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning!!
The sushi roll tasted like paste, called sushi obsession. It actually has a pasty covering. Disgusting. Only gave me one packet of soy sauce on delivery. Charged me for extra wasabi
Craving Japanese food, order Teriyaki Ribeye Beef with mix Tempura. I was very disappointed, worst Teriyaki and Tempura I have ever order!!! The beef teriyaki was very dried, burned and was more like beef jerky and NO teriyaki sauce! The tempura carrot was so thick, it tasted raw, not very good! I would give a negative star, but a 1 star is the lowest.
I remember in high school I’d always go to this place when it was sushi grill. I feel like back then the quality was so much better food wise and there was more precision in the food. I hadn’t been in two years and saw the name changed. I always got the sushi nachos and I ordered that and the meal for two. Customer service was really good and I could tell they were backed up but the lady was very composed. The miso soup was really good but our rolls were very hard to chew cause of how tough and dry the rice was. We didn’t get any sauces and they forgot my nachos. I came back and they hadn’t made them at all so they made it on the fly. I was excited since I hadn’t had them in so long . The picture is what they usually look like but that’s what I got. The sauce stuck to the roof of the container cause there was so much of it. It was just tons and tons of imitation crab and sriracha and mayo. It was really unappetizing to even look at and it didn’t taste as good as I remembered . The rice was stale. The wonton chips were hard to even find you had to dig through like 3 inches of crab..I was upset but we waited for so long and We ate it anyways. It was not worth the wait nor what I paid. :(
Good meal for the $$.Would have given 4 stars but chicken was so dry and hard to chew.Must have been a bad day for cook usually enjoy their food and sushi is always good
