Wow was wondering if Scotty’s Restaurant was still there. Haven’t been there in over 40 years. My step dad Greg Davis had relatives that worked at Scotty’s back then. I’d stop there with my uncle Jimmy Nolan sometimes as well in his semi truck. I was just a kid. I’ll be up in Vallejo next week delivering a load to Mare Island. If I can find a place to park my truck and trailer legally, I’ll stop in for breakfast.
Basic greasy spoon diner. Everything from the table to menus was dirty, greasy to the touch. Food is just typical breakfast/early lunch items, to me nothing special. The bay area has tons of great hole in the wall breakfast spots that not only have better food, but the service is great. The young woman who seated us was incredibly rude/short with us. She is the reason I'm leaving 1 star. She needs an attitude adjustment or find another career path, because working in the restaurant industry you need to treat customers a little better.
Great customer service you don't wait long for anything.. I love the service, food, and the environment.. But the bathroom is always out of this world. You would think someone would consider others but they don't.. In the restroom is no ventilation so some should wait till they get home to use it.. Don't be rude as hell.. Other than that my food is always great and so are the employees...

Great atmosphere with quick service and real homely feel. The staff are real nice and the food portions are good also. Loved watching them cook the food in front of me since I sat at the counter.

The food was really just ok. They actually used American cheese in my egg scramble. They didn't ask me if I wanted fake cheese with plastic ingredients in it. That's just what they served and a big chunk of it was sticking out, not even melted, which I was actually thankful for so I could easily get a good bit of it out. Not even Denny's plays that cheap. I would've sent it back if I hadn't been with a friend who was on a timeline. Next to that, I think they use unsalted butter because my English muffin was super bland. I had to add salt to it... The vibe there is cool and the service was really good, but the food was just ok. If I ever return I'll be sure to talk about the cheese before I order. You just don't use American with omlettes or egg scrambles without at least disclosing that on the menu or confirming the choice during the order.
It was very busy but they were very efficient. Never let our coffee get down too far before coming around and adding more. Food could have been a little better.
First time in this place, I give them 4 stars for the following, service is great our waitress was very attentive, food was good , price was reasonable, but amount of food was too little,Also they need to include more options in the menu, for example dessert and milk shakes, i am coming back to this little place.
