I rarely give bad reviews but I was so excited to try this place and was beyond disappointed. When I first arrived there were 2 gentlemen outside and I asked them if the food here was good or should I go to Chipotle's. One immediately responded here. The 2nd man didn't say much and was kinda indecisive and took his time about answering. I should've taken that as a red flag. I was buying lunch for my friend and myself. I ordered 2 beef/lamb gyros, 2 order of fries, one soup & 2 soda's. We agreed we enjoyed the drinks the most. I've eaten many gyro's and this was the first one that I couldn't taste the lamb or the beef or even tell the difference between the two. Lots of onions & seasoning though. The pita bread was not the best either. When I asked my friend, who had never had a gyro before, if she liked it, trying to be nice she said, "Well, it isn't one of my favorite sandwiches." I was mostly just disappointed that I couldn't tell the difference between the lamb and the beef and that neither really tasted like lamb or beef." Oh, and they also put French fries in their gyro's. That was another first for me. I prefer meat and veggies and no fries in my gyro's. Our side order of fries were so bad neither of us could eat them. They were cold, and a cross between hard, chewy and old. Now, since I took them to go I expected them to get cold but not hard & chewy. They were so overpowering with the Oregano we couldn't taste the potato itself and never saw the green onions. We broke out a couple of bags of chips instead. They do give a large amount of fries but both of my orders of fries went into the trash can and the meat in my friends sandwich I gave to my dog. He didn't eat but 2 bites of it either. My friend enjoyed the soup and said she'd eat the rest for dinner. I wonder if she was just trying to make me feel good for my effort but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. So, of my 33 dollars spent we enjoyed the soda and she liked the soup. It also took a long time to get my order. Other who came in and ordered after me got their orders first. Will I go there again? Nope. Next time I'm craving a gyro I'll drive to Athenian Grill in Suisun, where I can taste the lamb and beef, tell the difference between the 2 meats, get lots of it, and were they don't put French fries in the gyro. I gave this 2 stars. One was for the food and the other was because the server was nice.

Delicious delicious delicious! Staff is incredibly courteous. I ordered a Lamb Gyro plate and A side of Chicken Skewers. The gyro plate comes with a healthy serving of lamb, a hearty side salad, sliced pita bread, and onions/tomatoes/sauce. It was definitely fulfilling. Indoor seating somewhat small, but they have outdoor seating as well if you want to dine in. A must go in Vallejo!

Killer food for a chain. Glad they brought one to Vallejo. Nice portions and food is great. Gyro, fries, and plates all excellent. Can’t go wrong if you need something fast and different.

So happy to have a Nick the Greeks closer to Benicia. Great quality, awesome flavor, and decent portions. The bread is so much better than other Gyro places.

Good quality fast food.

I used to live on the east coast and there was alot of great Greek food spots. Moved to the bay and haven't found a good spot til tonight. I had the Greek burger and Regular gyro with feta fries. Everything was perfect. Seasoned perfectly , cooked perfect. I'm getting lunch tomorrow ?

Epic Greek meal. The Beef/Lamb Gyro was as good as it gets, good quality ingredients, quality meat, excellent pita bread. The Greek fries were outstanding. My wife got the Nick’s Greek fries and I had to help her out, it’s so much food! The fries, to me, are a step up from In-N-Out’s fresh cut fries. They’re fresh cut and made with love. Outstanding experience.

very comfort food and satisfying

Great food! We got 3 plates, Nick fries and the soup. Didn't care for the soup, bland and not as good as homemade. The gyro bowl was wonderful! The chicken souvalki plate was great as was the Falafel plate. The Nick fries were surprisingly delicious I honestly thought it would be too much from the picture, but it wasn't. I would recommend this place to anyone!

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to in Vallejo! I had the chicken gyro bowl, it was delicious portions are big and the price is reasonable. They provide exceptional customer service! Highly recommend! 5 stars! Good job Vallejo!
