This is my first time here after living in Vallejo for over 20 years. I ordered the carne asada burrito which was a good size and it’s similar to other Mexican restaurants around the area as far as taste. All together I enjoyed my burrito. Because of the pandemic there wasn’t a lot of dine in, but there was a lot of pick up, so judging from that, I’d say it’s a pretty good place to eat.
The food is good but they have an odd policy. They have a “policy” of making to go order customers wait outside then never let you know your food is sitting on the counter getting cold. Not a great strategy for retaining customers. I used to really like it here but they need have a better policy on waiting for your food than standing out in the cold at their mercy. If you try to wait inside they will literally ask you to go outside. Probably won’t be back. Might also mention that they close at random times and will not let you eat inside anywhere near closing time.
I go here once a week and the staff has never been so rude, but the worst part was we ordered 2 burritos and 2 quesadillas and it took over 45 minutes. Avoid if possible.
After being severely disappointed in Vallejo’s Mexican food I stopped in here. I can’t begin to to tell you how wonderful it was. The Chile Verde was the best I had in over 10 years of living in various parts of the country.

This is not the corner taco truck, you don't just get meat in a tortilla - w what you get is a nicely spiced, flavored and carefully grilled delight for the tongue. The steak ranchero is all about the flavor, the Chico quesadilla with meat does not forget that it's supposed to be about the cheese. Yum yum.
I have many dietary restrictions. Normally, though I love Mexican food, now it has become disappointing. HOWEVER, this place not only custom made a power bowel, it was so fresh and flavorful even at closing! BLEW MY MIND, CRAZY GOOD ? ?
Overall good and quick stop by after the dispensary. Steak fajitas didn’t disappoint. Large portions, good amount of meat for the price $16. Only thing was $2 extra for chips and salsa. Chips were warm and salsa was actually good but c’mon why the extra charge!
I had a veggie burrito here was mostly refried beans makes your burrito weak fall apart. I still feel hungry was not much veggies besides beans they need to do whole beans more solid refried is for dipping. I came here I saw a review said this is a hidden gem can't always believe the review comments I didn't think it was that good at all. Plus you have to pay extra if you want chips and then it's a very small portion.
This hidden gem is such a good Taqueria. We enjoy the food and the service. After I eat here, I must skip a few meals.
