So I haven’t been to Las Palmitas in many many years. My pops asked if I wanted to go there for my bday lunch, and tbh, I said yes because it’s a tradition of mine- whenever he wants to take me out to eat on my bday, I always tell him to pick (except once, I time I was craving sushi so we went lol, anyways), I was pleasantly surprised. The salsa (for the chips n salsa), they had some pretty bomb salsa. I got my typical basic carne asada plate (it’s my go to when I want to “taste test” a place- it’s a simple dish, but can also easily be messed up. Jeez, their carne asada plate was fire! I forced myself to save half because I knew I’d be eating a lot more throughout the day (everybody wants to take the bday person to eat on their bday). My son got a bean n cheese burrito and quesadilla- he smashed through it (I did take a bite of his to see, and I agreed with him, it was pretty dang tasty. And my pops, I’m not sure exactly what he got, but his shrimp plate also looked fire. I’ll definitely be going back a lot sooner than later.Well seasoned food, good portions, attentive service, good music playing in the background, it was a good vibe overall with good food.

A buddy told me to check this place out and wow! This is by far the best place for this type of food. Have only been there twice so far but everything has be prefect! The flavors of the sauces and how tender the meat has been is unreal. Talked to one of the bartenders and he told me the people in the kitchen I've been there for quite some time and you can tell they been making that type of food since they were young. There's no substitute for experience and their Cooks definitely have that. The drinks are good as well.
Music was waaaaaaay too loud. And the drinks and check took too long. But other than that, good food and service.The music is nice, but it was at a volume more appropriate for a dance club. I had dinner here with my family and had to yell to talk to eachother. Secondly, the drinks came out at the same time as our dinner. They are definitely understaffed, but we didn't even have water while we were waiting for our food. We also had to ask multiple times and wait on a side of guac till we were pretty much done eating. Lastly, we had to wait over 15min for the check. The servers walked by multiple times while we were all done eating, but didn't bring it. We had to ask for it twice and walk up to the counter to ask again.The servers were nice, the restaurant is clean, the bar looks nice, and they had a good NFL game on.
Friday night dinner for years! The food is awesome, plentiful and so so good! The hard working staff are worthy of good tips!
Top shelf margaritas, food and service was outstanding on a very busy Sunday evening. Can't wait to go back.
Look no further if your are looking for authentic mexican food. The birria en caldo is really good just needs a little bit of salt. The taco sald is also a must, but you really cant go wrong with everthing else. Itsfamiky ownes and the workers are friendly. You can eat inside or out in the patio.

We love it here, visit regularly. The vibe is great, authentic. The staff is great and the food is the bomb. Great music playing always.
