Been going to L&L for years. Even now that I no longer live in Vallejo I have to stop by here once in a blue moon to feast upon their spicy tofu over cabbage with some macaroni salad. A friend ordered the spam masubi and they absolutely loved it.Wish all the L&Ls were this homey and delicious! ?

Just wanna share how I love going here for L&L. Not sure if half the hate on here is legit, or from the other L&L. But this place knows how to cook. Everytime i freakin order at gateway they burn my loco moco meat it tastes bland and it tastes like charcoal. This place might not be in the best part of town but he delivers and can truly cook. People say their mac salad is just mayo but tbh, it tastes great for some ppl, unlike other mac salads. The best part here are their portions! Super generous amount! Second to this place is the Hilo Hawaiian restaurant in ac ????

I'd give it 5 stars, except, the area is so undesirable.Its Owner is a very Proud, but nice, and humble Gentleman that doesn't like taking tips for something he feels he doesn't deserve. I tried to show my appreciation, with a tip, he felt was too high, yet, he doesn't know how much I appreciated his preparation of the food, making it soft, not allowing me to purchase items, he knew my stomach (GI problems)couldn't handle.He truly believes in taking good care of his Customers. It's a Family Owned business that caters to Hawaiian and Chinese cuisine. The guy can Cook! Especially Musubi (like sushi, w/o all that raw mess, not sliced, but whole and has plain Spam for Spam lovers-very tasty) and Macaroni Salad. It's a goat, for sure! In this case, that's a Good thing-Lol

Just no. Been giving it a chance through the years, and every experience is DISAPPOINTING. He had no mask on..the mac salad is a no always. Gave me bbq combo when I said the seafood combo; the small amount of beef on the side was cold and mostly fat, and not beer battered fish like gateway plaza. Done giving this spot a try its not an authentic Hawaiian bbq. And didnt let me keep the other messed up order like cool places do, more expensive too.
First visit. We loved it. Definitely going back to try more delicious food.
