The reservation system allowed me to make an 11:15 am reservation for 5/21/21. I later saw that their park hours were only 6 pm - 9 pm that day. I had purchased a Flash Pass since I was traveling from southern California to visit and was going to leave Vallejo after visiting that morning/afternoon. I never received an alert from Six Flags that my reservation time was not valid, in fact my reservation still shows as valid on their website, and after two email messages (no response), two phone calls (no return to my voice mail messages I left), and 3 chats that each took nearly at least 45 minutes just to get a live rep for, not a single person I've reached out to is willing to provide me with a refund for a $140 Flash Pass their system sold me for a reservation time that they cannot honor.

I went on Sunday the 11 of April worst experience ever got there at noon went in 1 Ride left at 7 I wouldn't recommend discovery kingdom to anyone right now it seems like it's a big scam they say 15% copacity for california people only they don't check worst time I've ever had it's supposed to be fun for the family nine of us had fun the wait time was over 3 hrs for a Ride only let 4 to 6 people on a ride at a time it seems like a big scam for your money

The first week the park opened since the pandemic, during Spring Break, would not seem to be a great time to go. But the fact that they supposedly had reduced the number of guests convinced us to give it a shot. Big Mistake. It seemed more crowded than any other time I’ve been there, and we go at least once a year. We waited 2 hours for Medusa, 1 1/2 hours for Kong....it was ridiculous. They were filling the rides not even half full (at one point we counted 7 riders on a roller coaster that held 32!), and as a previous reviewer mentioned, the fast pass people were constantly passing us by while our line was at a dead standstill. The worst part is that my locker time ran out (because we were stuck in a long line.). I was happy to pay the extra dollar overage fee, but my purse (with my debit card) was trapped inside the locker, and I couldn’t ransom my things without the card. They were not taking cash, although that was trapped inside my purse, too. An employee called the locker people 3 times. After 1 1/2 hours of waiting in the heat, with our water bottles also locked inside the lockers, she told us to go to guest services, as the locker people were no longer even answering their phone. The lady at guest services was nice. She gave us 2 meal vouchers and said she would send us free passes for another day, but we never received them. By the time we were able to retrieve our things, we had wasted over two hours. I informed the locker guy that we had been waiting 2 hours for him. He said, “Oh. I need to go help someone else first, and then I’ll be over.” In the 8 hours we were there, we were able to ride 6 rides. We will not be back anytime soon.

We were excited for a outing after COVID and expected some rides to be closed BUT they only had about 1/4 of the rides open. They also adjusted service for COVID safety BUT as a result the lines were VERY long. We spent 2+ hours for a 2 minute ride on Kong! All total, we were in the park for 6.5 hours and rode only 3 rides. Needless to say, our children were very disappointed. A complicating factor is Six Flags has this "Flash Pass" people buy to get ahead in the line. The problem is when rides are at 1/2 capacity for Covid safety this means other guests stand in line and watch car after car of Flash Pass guests skip ahead and the regular customers waiting in line do not move. I do not think this system works when the park is a reduced capacity. Also, lucky for us we ate before going, very few food places were open. We were unable to find a place to purchase ice cream for the kids.

Came here for the Holiday in the Park Drive-Thru Experience. We had been before, but returned with a family member who had missed the first trip. The kids (5 and 2 years old) love it, and the adults (me, me!!) liked it as well. A nice bit of holiday cheer in a dreary season. Hopefully this will bring in a better and more joyful year . . . The idea is simple - you drive through a park you normally would walk through. Areas are decorated with figures, lights, Christmas trees, a dancing Gingerbread man (took this second visit for the 2-year old to wave "hello"!), and music to enjoy along the route via outside speakers. Unless it's raining, you can roll down the windows, crank up the heater and enjoy a 3 mile per hour tour. The only warning is to read the requirements on the website carefully. For example, tickets are per person, not per vehicle, and even if you are a Season Pass holder you need to make on-line reservations. For a Season Holder, there is no cost, and extra people are $20 each. If no pass, then $20 each for every one in the vehicle. Not a bad price, depending on your expectations. There are also snack packs which can be purchased ahead of time, including things like holiday souvenir mugs with hot chocolate, assorted holiday cookies, popcorn and cinnamon rolls. We found it to be fun, and most of the people were covered by the Season Pass, so that does help a bit. But still, take a peek, read some reviews and perhaps treat yourself to a 30 minute diversion from reality. The lights are bright, the music merry and the people (seems like all of them!) were friendly and in great holiday spirit. It is available through the end of January, and we plan to be back!

Booked for 8pm and were here before that time. We are still driving to the park entrance an hour later. No toilets in sight. No sign posts and random attendants 30 mins apart to question. Hoping to get to the entrance area in the next 30 mins, apparently they have restrooms there!!!
