Yum! We got there about a little over an hour before closing. Not busy. Plenty seating outside and close parking. Employee Jonathan was awesome. He was helpful, positive and attentive. Good day plays great music! Food was very good. Got fried chicken, eggs and potatoes could not find it on the menu but I saw a picture and asked. Second meal was chicken & waffles. Tried the biscuits and gravy and took a bread pudding to-go. Would definitely go back.
When I resided in the Fairfield/Suisun area Bab’s Delta Diner was my go to spot for breakfast! But after moving to Vallejo some years back I found this gem in Downtown Vallejo! Service is always on point and the food is poppin! This is my fam’s go to destination for breakfast. Plus my kids love the goodie’s bask Good Day Cafe has for the kids after the meal is over! The pancakes and country potatoes are bomb! Loves me some Good Day!
4got 2 take pics yesterday. But that was the best b'day breakfast I had. Our waitress was perfect. We will go back
Good food for good prices. Checkout my hot chocolate!
This is a spacious family neighborhood breakfast place. The staff is very friendly. The food portions are generous. I was happy about seeing the thick sliced bacon served here! The food is hometown goodness that sticks to your ribs. Very tasty ?.
First time here today and it was great! Food was delicious, friendliest and most attentive server (didn’t get her name) and good music too! It was clean and fairly priced!
The service was really bad, our waitress came to us once after ignoring us for 20 min and only after we called her rushing past us. The food is very average and overpriced. There was an eye lash in one dish and a hair in another. So try at your own risk. The whole place just looks dirty and trashy.Oh, and they automatically charge 10% gratuity for take out orders and 20% for parties 6 people or more. Is that even legal.
the two dishes we ordered were bad
I've been to this cafe 3 times now. And the food, atmosphere and staff are nothing short of EXCELLENT!?Then there's the selection of R&B music and oldies they play. And for a moment, you feel like you're back at home at your grandmother's. House. And they even have a waiter there that can sing a little bit. And this place is DEFINITELY a Godsend for Bus Drivers on their lunch breaks.?As I stated earlier, I've been there multiple times before. And you damn well better believe I'll be back there again.I love this place.?
Good food. Fresh. Fast service. Love the local artwork displayed and for sale on the walls. FYI, for those that are not aware, Hillary Clinton ate here during her campaign.
