Had the worst restaurant experience ever and wrote down all the details of our bad choice to walk into this place 3 years ago. I was surprised I didn't get a reply from management. Then I looked up the reviews and saw dozens of equally bad experiences. Today, after reading their reviews I realize nothing has changed in the last 3 years. The reviews must be in the hundreds. It's still the same horrific service and experience.
This Denny's is on Sonoma Boulevard in Vallejo, it is in an older building and location. The staff is like most Denny's, and helpful and efficient. No surprises here with the menu and food. It can get pretty busy on the weekend.
Online this Dennys states it opens at 7am. I’ve been here two times now. The first time they opened 15 minutes late and we had to knock on the door for them to open. This is my second time here now, it is 7:21 AM, I just called them and they said they will not open until 20 minutes from now (7:40am, 40 mins late) because the grill is cold. Online their business hours state they are open at 7am. This is not professional. HOWEVER, both times the servers were really nice/sweet ladies, so, that’s a +.
The waiter James was very rude when I called let them know I was disappointed in my steak breakfast order. He hung up on me. I called back said my steak was tough he said so what then hung up on me. I called again & asked for a manager. He again rude. I waited a few hours called back he said are you the lady that didn’t have on a mask. Yes Then asked me why I didn’t have one on the sign was in front of me I told him I wasn’t paying attention he gonna tell me then pay attention said why are you being so rude he asked me why am I so stupid and then hung up on me
The steak didn't taste good in addition the food taste like it was warm in the oven and to add it up the service was not what we expected
The service was the worst we've had at any Denny's.Had to ask for everything twice and wait a long time before our waitress would come back. They seemed more intent on making sure no one got seated without a mask than serving food.Biggest mistake of all was never once offering to refill my coffee cup!
The worst customer service. The waiter had an attitude from the moment we stepped foot in that store. So after looking at the menu and dealing with his attitude we decided to just not order and walk out. He starts clapping and arguing over a dam mask with my friend cause she had enough of his stupid attitude. While walking out he flips me. Way the go Denny’s for keeping servers like him. No wonder the store is death. Sorry Denny’s is one of our favorite places but this one is just trash thanks to ur trashy server. Mind my language.
We came in to enjoy our breakfast-Dinner. Lucky for us the restaurant was slow. This made our order come fast and piping hot. We really appreciated the nice server as well
