Not great, go elsewhere - it is okay at best - nothing to write home about, and plenty of problems. I would've gone 3 stars if they got my order right - I said no lettuce, but it had lettuce. Not worth sending it back over, but it seemed like they were having trouble getting people's orders correct. The inside is also poor, with plywood covering half the customer area, and a non-working bathroom, which by reading other reviews, has been broken for a year or more. The fries were cooked correctly, but many had green edges, meaning that they used a potato that was at least partly bad and should've been discarded. The burger was nothing great - a little overcooked, pretty bland, skimpy on the bacon. If these are supposedly "The Best Burgers in Solano" then we need to do better as a county. Maybe there is nostalgia, or people in the area don't know actually know how a great burger meal should be - I probably won't be back.
Great burger. I generally get the mega which is double patty on a French roll add bacon, buds is a major staple in vallejo foods. It's a busy wait sometimes but totally worth it. Prices are what they are if ya don't wanna spend $6-12 burger goto fast food and get a happy meal. But if you want a good delicious burger spend the money wait the wait and enjoy Buds.
Three o'clock in the afternoon parking lot full, line out the door.. the workers behind the counter are busting their backs to keep up with crowd. This at a restaurant that looks a bit tired and run down. However, when you take the first bite of your burger it all makes perfect sense. The burgers and fries were perfect

One of the things that I miss about living in Vallejo is Bud's! There is bacon in every bite if you get the bacon burger! Hole in the wall, honest to goodness deliciousness!!! I make the hour drive sometimes just for Bud's!!
All though I have been in Georgia for the last 16 years, I am a Vallejo native and Bud's Giant Burgers is STILL the best burger ? joint period!!! Homemade fries and a great burger! Still one of my favorite places to eat
Sat in car waiting 10 to 15 min after we ordered. I ordered cheeseburger combo as it comes. My guy ordered double cheeseburger. We shared the fries that were good. Greasy soggy home made type fries. They served the fries in a styrafoam cup, that had oils drained down. Although the place was filthy,it was very affordable. I wont go back once was enough. Although its much better than the drive thru chains. Its real food...
Long drive but worth the wait the Latina woman did not disappoint she is still rude to all customers…
I often visit in this area but have never even noticed this gem. It was exactly what I wanted ! A fast, tasty, affordable burger cooked the way I ordered it. Inside dining was closed but our food was still hot when we got it home. It looked to me like most the folks there were locals which speaks volumes. Don’t forget the fries… they are yummy!
Now it's time for the 2nd of the 2 best fast food restaurants in Vallejo...Bud's Giant Burgers. This has been a staple of high school lunches since I went to high school in 1983-1985, and BEFORE. These are burgers that other establishments try to become and surpass, but CAN'T. Each burger is large, and cooked well, unless specified, and well seasoned, then piled high with basic condiments of lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese (bacon & avocado are extra) mustard and mayo. These can can come single, double, and triple in size...I have never tried a 3-patty burger, just too big!! Fries come in 3 sizes, served in cups versus bags, and are crispy YET soft enough to pack your cup. The lines can get long around lunch/dinner, so try the off hours 1st... you won't be disappointed. As you frequent more often, and you will, be brazen and try bigger combos until you find what you're comfortable with. I will travel 2 1/2 hrs, twice a month, for lunch here and Sac's Tasty Dogs. Avoid McDonald's, Burger King, In & Out, etc... eat at Bud's for a fantastic meal.
