Food was good. Waitress Emma was super friendly and attentive. Would return.
I booked a reservation thru OpenTable, but when we got there they did not have it. So if you are going there I would suggest booking a reservation another way. The hostess was able to accommodate us, but did not apologize for the snafu, which would be appropriate regardless of where the fault lies. Food was ok, overpriced and the noise level was quite high, including mediocre live music. The server was excellent.
Nice place near while exploring the neighborhood. Fast friendly service. The flour chips are not really for me but they are pretty. They just don't hold salsa! Plus, adding some combos to the menu where you can have a taco with enchilada and Chile relleno would be nice but they just don't have traditional combo platters which I found a bit odd. It was delicious though!
Great place to enjoy dinner and drinks
I thought the food and the drinks were good and reasonably priced. However, the service was very poor. Our server was not very attentive and when we asked for something - such as an extra plate, or extra silverware or more water- he seemed to be bothered and was rather rude. I was also a bit upset that when I got to the restaurant we were notified that an extra 3.75% would be added to the bill. I would rather the they just increase their prices than tack on this additional inflation. Additionally, when filling out the reservation I was asked if my reservation was for a special occasion. I indicated that it was for a birthday but I thought it was just for research purposes. At the end of the meal, the waiter came out with a little birthday treat. I did not expect this to happen. I thought it was free or included. However, when I got the bill, I realized they charged an extra $5 for it. I did not necessarily want this nor did I order it and I was upset that they charged for something I never even asked for. Had I known they were going to charge I would have never said anything.
I was a little skeptical due to being âa chainâ but was very impressed. Shrimp tacos were my favorite of the 4 I tried mix and match (two different fish and one carne asada). Enjoyed the chips for the table and salsas. I very much suggest the watermelon margarita!
I come every 3-4 months and always order the Rancho salad. I rarely get same looking salad 2x. This time, I ordered the Rancho salad with extra $5 chicken. The lettuce was the cheap white parts of a head (not top green leaf lettuce) and chicken was about a cup of tiny chopped bits. For $18, it was not a good value. I wonât be ordering it again.
I enjoy Solita, and good service makes it an even better experience so thanks to Jimmy for being great and attentive!
Such a nice experience today. Seated inside at a corner table, which was great. Our first-time meal, we ordered cocktails, tacos, a burrito, and a kid's enchilada plate. Our server was excellent. Answered all of our questions and was patient and kind. The food was fantastic, fresh, and well plated. My only complaint is that I would have loved a diet coke, but they only have Pepsi products. All in all, I will go back for sure. Nice dining for sure.
Positives: Seated right away. Service was polite and fast. Food and drinks came out very quickly. Things to consider: Very crowded and loud. Food and drinks were over priced.
