I’ve been to slaters in SD but my bf hasn’t been so we made a stop before heading home. He got the lone star burger and I got the original, we sat outside the weather was nice so it made it bare-able. He liked it for trying it the first time. I knew it wouldn’t disappoint. My waitress I wish we got her name she was great so attentive and friendly. He liked it and for it being my first time at this location it was great. Thank you Slaters. Oh they also had a camera in the front when entering we didn’t use it but it’s cute for memory on a date night.
I truly enjoy this place. The service is great and the food is great. Favorite appetizer is the Southern pimento loaded tots. We have had so many things on the menu and really you can't go wrong. I love the 50/50 hotdogs and the high brow buger. The best waitress i have ever encountered works here, Heather, and we ask for her section whenever possible.

First time here and absolutely loved it. I love tots and they sure know how to make them! Awesome choice of drinks also!! We were in a rush so couldn't stay long but we will return and try some more!! Great customer service! Very clean and friendly place
Slaters is up there with one of the best burger spots I've ever been to. I HIGHLY recommended the Bacon Mac n' Cheese balls as a nice addition to the many unique and tasty burgers on the menu. It was my first time at the Valencia location and it was great but I must admit the Pasadena location takes it in terms of tastier burgers and overall vibe.
Great beer selection and menu but really strange and convoluted beer prices watch your bill carefully
I went to this place three times... the first time was perfect, very friendly service and meat on exacly point i asked for. The second time we had regular service, nothing special, and the meat was a little off the point I asked for. The third time it was today, the service was terrible, no one came to see if we needed more drinks, I had to go to the cashier to ask someone to come and help us. The food was completely wrong, I asked for medium point for meat but they brought me the meat well done, small, dry and without salt. The fries were salty too. And after all that they put a tip of 20% without my authorization. This is basically stealing. I would be happy to tip 20% like I did the first 2 times, but not this time. You may have robbed me of 20% but lost a customer. I will warn as many people as possible not to eat at this place.
So let me tell you about this place I went in here solely for the milkshakes the milkshakes looked really good so I walk into this fine establishment and find out they have bacon ketchup now I was very intrigued by the name bacon ketchup so I decided to order a Siracha burger with chili cheese fries and a side of the bacon ketchup the wait was a bit long around 35 minutes for everything and my burger was a bit undercooked but the bacon ketchup made up for it I know it might not sound good but it’s delicious and the milkshake the s’more milkshake tasted really good in conclusion this place is really good I’m definitely going to tell all my friends at the morgue tomorrow about this place because these milkshakes can make anyones day better
