Have now visited three times in the last 2 weeks. I have tried breakfast and lunch. Everything is amazing. Highly recommend the French Dip (you can taste the homemade), breakfast burrito, and chicken fried steak. The guys in the kitchen are no joke and throw down some rockin' chow.
Great little Cafe. Customer service was above normal. Coffee delivery was a little slow. Minus that and it's 5 stars for service. Will definitely go again. Food was good and proportions were good.

This excellent little café is exactly what you would expect or want for some excellent comfort food if you were in the mood for comfort food. I found the owner to be charming, accommodating, friendly, and his staff the same way. I eat here on a couple of different occasions; the food was good, the service was fast, and the overall experience was perfect.
My family & I went to Wren's for the 1st time the morning after Thanksgiving Day. As expected, the restaurant was very busy, but what was unexpected was walking in & having all of the servers look up at us or walk right past us without even acknowledging our presence. We just stood there wondering if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. I finally asked my husband "should we just sit down or what?". One of the servers hears me & says "I'll be with you in a minute". Once we were seated our coffee was brought to the table & the server immediately walked away. We had to ask for napkins & utensils so we had something to stir our coffee.While the food came out quickly given how busy it was, it was just ok. I ordered french toast & although the flavor was alright it was made with basic sliced white bread. My husband's sausage was very wrinkled like it had been precooked & he indicated that it tasted odd. The serving sizes & quality of the food is minimal given the cost. Unfortunately, the whole experience was quite underwhelming.

Do you say, piano player or pianist? If you said Pianist this place probably isn't for you.As it's right off the 80, you can miss it but don't! It's aare awesome, with a friendly atmosphere, and the owners areawesome!The only reason I gave 4⭐ versus 5⭐ is the coffee could be a bit beefier for us.
Wrens is always a good choice. Consistent every time. I've never had anything that wasnt good from here. It's a little gem and apart of the history in vacaville. Will always support local businesses like this.
