This is a very nice solid Thai food restaurant in Vacaville. It's nothing out of the ordinary, but has everything you expect from a Thai restaurant hosted with friendly attentive staff staff. The venue is clean and well lit, and so the atmosphere is pretty light and casual.
Togo order took an hour and 30 minutes even though on call and over the internet at end of order said it will take an hour. I waited for 30 minutes more and guy at front desk was very very rude. Specially when i am a regular customer. Food is very good with no doubt but front desk guy just insult you.
Really great pad Thai. Nice place, friendly staff. Will definitely be back here soon.
Holy yum!! I had the crispy ginger chicken… so so good!! The rice wasn’t my favorite but the chicken with the amazing sauce more than made up for it.
We went to try something new to us. All the food was very well prepared. The customer service was great. While we enjoyed our entire meal, the whole family was amazed by the chicken fried rice. It was better than any we had ever had at any other Asian food restaurant ever. If you are on a budget, this location provides amazing value
Took my mom to my favorite Thai food place today because my sister took her to Hawaii last year and she came home raving about a Thai pineapple coconut mahi-mahi curry and I asked her if she'd ever had Thai food before. She said no! Since it happens to be my favorite, I felt embarrassed that I never thought to share it with her! She was hoping to find a similar dish but open to a food adventure. Thai rice barn in Vacaville never fails to delight and astonish. I have never had a meal there I wouldn't describe as delicious and wonderful! You should have seen the look on my mom's face when they brought out the mango curry. The presentation was simply beautiful. Better than that, the flavor was out of this world. I had the tofu chili cha cha mostly because it was vegan and had a fun name! I ate the entire plate! The food was visually appealing and had a rich sweet and savory flavor profile with just the right amount of basil and garlic. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The food is always hot, yummy, and beautiful. If you're in Vacaville or in need a food adventure, Thai rice barn is a must! Highly recommend.
Came here for lunch during the week. It got busy once we sat down. The food was good. I ordered the lunch basil chopped chicken. Very tasty not spicy. The lunch portions was pretty big, I even had left overs to take home!! It comes with a salad, rice and 2 vegetable egg rolls. Service was ok because they only checked up on us once after we got our food. The restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of parking. We ate inside. The only negative thing is that they have a lot flies and gnats flying around it got pretty annoying after awhile. Trying to eat and at the same trying to shoo the flys and gnats away from our food.
Food was great..we went to talk and it's noisy, and we had to hunt down our check. However, I'd certainly be back. Creative menu! This was the peanut explosion with chicken.. the egg roll didn't come pre bitten..lol
I had the peanut explosion-very good, tried duck curry-very good, tried alligator-didnt care for the fishy flavor, but nice tender texture. It seems like the service suffers when they are busy. They always seem happy to help, but I have had to flag someone down for water refills, napkins, etc. During my visits here.
Tasty food, especially chicken fried rice and that sauce! busy but good service!
