We ate lunch at Pietro's after a business meeting. Service and food was great. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Ate so fast I forgot to take pictures. Get the Pizza and Fried Ravioli.
A Vacaville classic. We arrived on a busy Saturday and got seated right away. Service was great. Pizza is unique here, more filling than most. Solid place for the family.
I have been going to Pietro's since the mid 1970's . The pizza was the very best around. Probably in the entire state. A few years ago I noticed the pizza was not quite up to par. I just figured it was a temporary cook due to covid. I went back last month and the pizza was comparable to the local take and bake pizza shop, except for the 30+ dollar price of the medium super special. The dough had no taste at all. There was almost no cheese on the pizza or some kind of low fat cheese. Very few toppings. In years past the crust had a good risen yeasty taste with lots of crispy air pockets and the cheese would stretch very far when you separate the slices. It was very juicy. It is very sad. I hope that someday it will return to its original quality. I do not know if pietro's #1 is managed by the relatives of the original owners, but I do know the quality of Pietro's #1 today would be unacceptable to the original owners/founders. I have not tried Pietro's #2 but I have noticed the menu is all most the same as are the prices. I probable will give them a try soon.
Absolutely amazing experience. Everything we ate was delicious and the service was perfect. They accommodate a big group wonderfully. Thank you so much! Looking forward to coming back.
I had dinner here with my son and it was amazing. Our waitress name was Reba and she was great. Food was excellent as always!
Came with the family and service was lacking, forgot about our table several times. The place is nice and large enough to hold customers but maybe there is a lack of employees. Really not sure but they forgot our order and sent out the wrong food. But they did fix it so that was good. The waitress was cheerful and nice so that was appreciated. Just a little more attention is necessary to make the customers happy.

New to the area and someone recommended the pizza here. The quality of their ingredients, minus the cheese, were great. The cheese hardened a lot within about a 15 minute drive home. Maybe it would have been better if we had dined in? So take this note with a grain of salt but I've never had cheese harden so much like it did tonight. We got 2 medium pizzas, and the size was bigger than expected, so that was nice.I read a few reviews mentioning that their pizza's are VERY soggy and YEP, that was true for us tonight. They overloaded our pizza with the toppings and so the middle of the pizza broke off when grabbing a slice. I'm thankful that they didn't skimp out on them, but it wasn't enjoyable since there was just too much and everything fell apart. I'm a crust person so I didn't mind too much that there was about 2 1/2 inches of crust compared to the main part of the pizza, but my roommates were not happy about it.Working in the food industry before, their service was pretty bad. No one greeted or even acknowledged us when we walked in. Got LOTS of stares but not one hello or "Have you been helped?" We always use the excuse "Maybe they were busy cause it's a Friday night." But they had plenty of workers, unless no one is allowed to help/talk to us if they don't work at the front...?OVERALL, it wasn't completely bad. Thankful that we got ours to go though, esp if we were going to be ignored like that. I would say, definitely try it out for yourself if you haven't already, because your experience could be different than mine. But I don't want to go back at all or if anything, any time soon.
We had a larger party celebrating a birthday. Pietros was very accommodating and we enjoyed our dinner. Our server Whitney was fantastic! Her positive friendly attitude made our experience even more special!
