Ordered the veterinarian fajitas, do not recommend. Rather than add more vegetables, it was basically the same dish as my boyfriend's steak fajitas, just missing the steak, not worth the price. Also, the refried beans looked gross, just a watery grey mess. They tasted good, but looked nasty.
The service was great and our waitress was excellent and attentive. The one star is for the food. Rice, guacamole, and beans completely flavorless. Tacos are flavorless. I could make better Mexican food at home. The “salsa” is warmed up, flavorless enchilada sauce essentially. I was bummed because I always see this place’s parking lot packed and assumed it was good food. Sad to say the food just wasn’t good. Very bummed. Add some flavor to your food Murillo’s. You can use my rice recipe lol. The soda and service was the best part sadly.
This place has been here forever and the recipes are the Original ones. So much flavor. The best location! Love their Shrimp Cocktail and pick 2 or 3 Combo plate. They have mixed drinks too.
This is honestly probably the worst Mexican food that I've had in my life and I've eaten a lot of Mexican food. The food lacks flavor. The guacamole tastes funky. My brother's taco salad tasted off. The best part was the rice and the sour cream that I smothered my lack of taste fajitas in. Giving it one star for the artwork and one star for the waitress cuz she was awesome. But definitely will not be returning.
From the moment I walked in the door everything started to go wrong. The greater couldn't even figure out where to seat us. Then we pass 2 perfectly good tables only to be seated all the way in the back in some weird half booth that had dead and live fruit Flys all over. It felt like we were inconveniencing them by trying to eat there. The chips and salsa they give were cold and stale and the salsa tasted like thinned out spaghetti sauce. The waitress was nice enough but at first we weren't ready to order and asked for some time then she came back like a minute later and we still weren't ready it then took her what felt like 10 minutes to come back. Our food was bland and tasteless like they don't use any seasonings. I don't feel good after eating here.Edit made it home I feel even worse then after finishing the food. I can tell it's gonna be a rough night.
The flies are getting WORSE! Tell me why the entire place has not been cleaned or shut down? The entire wall section where the wibdows is buzzing with fruit flies and has gotten worse. I hadn't been since before Covid and was in the area and thought oh try here again. The mild salsa taste like spaghetti sauce blended and "hot" they just added cayenne and red chilli to the salsa. The Chimichanga the chicken was over boiled to the point it had no flavor. And this place once upon a time was voted "Best Food in Vacaville. Soda's are $3 and you only get 1 refill. Health and safety needs to inspect this place it is BAD.
I had the chorizo and eggs breakfast, and my wife had the green chili breakfast.Both meals were great ??
