I, literally, have nothing to criticize about this sandwich place at the Nut Tree Plaza. The service: great. The Jamaican jerk turkey and steak and cheese sandwiches: messy but yummy. The fact that they donate proceeds from EVERY sandwich to local emergency responders: priceless. The fireman gear on the walls and the framed fire district patches give this place a friendly ambiance. Go dig into one of their hot subs today!
According to Firehouse, it lacks one thing. Respect. Hearing from an employee at this establishment, is being “improperly trained” they said and their night manger named Nick smells like “weed”. This hard worker as an employee is always putting his best efforts at work and the night manger named (Nick) harasses, and disowns this employees’ efforts that I myself has witnessed this. Firehouse please do a better job at treating your employees with respect. Thank you.
Excellent sandwich !! If you've never had one I suggest that you should try one when ever possible. You will want to go back.

I don’t usually don’t write reviews, but this establishment deserves one. I walked in and there were two employees “working”. One was having a personal conversation with a customer and the other one was behind the counter preparing a sandwich. Neither of them acknowledged that fact that I had walked in. I waited for approximately 3 min, said hello and they continued to ignore me. One kept his personal conversation and the other one kept I making sandwiches. Needless to say, we walked out and the employees could have cared less.I had always wanted to try a sandwich from there but I guess it won’t be from this location.
Although they were short staffed the 3 people there were working so hard to get everyone what they needed with a smile on their ninja faces.

Cool & friendly staff. Great location for a quick stop drive break off the highway. Never had a Firehouse sandwich I didn't enjoy!
