I've been going to El Caracol in Vacaville since I moved down the street in 2014, and once or twice a week until I moved to Woodland 2 years ago. I wrote a review in '15 or '16 saying they had the best burrito I've been able to find in Solano - And I still think so! Even better than anything I've found in Woodland. And, of course, their fabulous pupusas, nachos, and OMG the crunchy chicken taco! Their catering is great too, at a fantastic price!Janet and Mario (owners) and Karen (the only server I still know there) are great. Service has always been stellar, good, clean location, good parking, great prices.Do yourself a favor and check them out. My favorite Mexican restaurant for 8 years!

I always order from them because they are the only ones on this side of town but not to happy with quality of the food. The Asada pupusas are way too plain not enough cheese and the meat is almost like tiny mushy pieces always. The nachos are super plain more chips than anything barely anything else.ALWAYS. i have been going their for 10 years. The salsa is very good and spicy everytime. Please just step it up. If another place opens up on this side of town. You will have competition fershure.

Love the food. They took awhile to serve us but compensated our bill fairly without us asking.

Had a great dinner with bf. This was the first time at this plc, the food was really good. Definitely coming back here again.

Super sad for the three stars. Went to the one in Vacaville and the spicy enchiladas were explosively flavorful with succulent shedded chicken. Fairfield not so much rather bland. So so salsa. Might be just whole Covid deal in general.

They have the best pupusas anywhere in solano!!!!!! Only person making them better is your Salvadorean abuelita!!!!!

The food is awesome at this place. It’s one our favorite spots because the food is always Fresh, and delicious. Good price and great customer service.

This is best Mexican food in town and one of the few places anywhere nearby to get pupusas with the cabbage. Priced well too.If anyone leaves a negative review it’s probably because they are the type of person that prefers Taco Bell.

This place is extremely overpriced and quality is not authentic. For 4.50 for each pupusa you would think its going to at the very least be tasty. Now I dont mind spending money on good delicious authentic food but the pupusas I bought from here were horrible. Maybe there better at making burritos but I will not be coming back to this place again. Worst spent 100 dollars on pupusas

El Caracol Mexican Restaurant is my absolute favorite place to eat ???
