Amazing service and amazing food everything we would have expected for an American diner our waitress Christina was the best we have had during our holiday.Definitely worth the stop!!
It was on a busy Sunday brunch hour but we got in quick just under 5 minutes! Had a nice spot right under the A/C. Service was kind and quick. Food took a bit but it was busy so that was fine. I enjoyed an iced vanilla cold brew and so did my hubby. Our food was delicious, hot and fresh! I got the club sandwich with fries and my hubbs got the chicken and waffles. Very yummy and filling. Got out at a good time. We were on our way home from a road trip and this place was awesome to stop at. Would definitely visit this location again while on the road. Took half of my sandwich and fries with me plus two chicken strips from the chicken & waffles meal which made a great road snack for the rest of our 2 hr drive.
Always great comfort food at this place. Feels homey, like you're in a country cabin in the woods. Service great, staff friendly, overall great.

The food was good and the service was decent. Overall a nice place to eat breakfast with the family. Not really worth the 20 minute drive for me, but would come back if I were in the area on a Friday evening to try the all-you-can-eat fish and chips some day.
Black Bear Diner never disappoints us; the staff cheerfully greet your arrival and provide unparalleled service throughout your meal. They have a huge selection of entrées and have a children's menu as well. The food is always cooked to perfection, and the portions are generous. We were there and they were decorated for Valentines Day.Plus, they have everything Black Bear, including a local Black Bear newspaper called "The Black Bear Gazette". The current issue of The Black Bear Gazette has a front page article titled, "Bears Helping Bears". In this article, they explained how The Black Bear Diner donated money to help rehabilitate 3 Bear Cubs that had survived but been burned in local wildfires. We got to meet the owner today, he's very nice. The manager is a very attentive person too. I like my food hot exactly the way it's served to me there. I like this restaurant! ? today is my son's birthda and They didn't even offer a complimentary dessert. It would have been great if they had offered him a dessert. Just to make him fill welcome. after all we waited for the light to come back because they had a blackout.

We love stopping here for lunch on our long road trips. They serve excellent food whatever you order. There is plenty of room there and the staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. I would recommend this place to family and friends. ❤ ?
