This particular location is by far one of the worst Popeyes Chicken restaurants in the area. For the longest, the lobby was closed for to-go orders and there was no warning whatsoever. They consistently don't have various items despite the large ads on the windows, and on more than one occasion have forgotten items in orders despite charging folks for them and when asked for a refund, the management seem to have an attitude about it.

Went to get a 10 piece they shorted me a breast. I called the manager they didn’t want to make it worth my while to drive back there the next day to get what I asked for was a five piece with 2 breasts. She offered two breast and a leg . I said not good enough for me to drive several miles to get the measly 3 pieces. These people here at this location are not treating the customers the way they should be treated. I’m definitely going to go look for someone else higher up discuss this poor treatment of patrons. I’m pretty sure they purposely omitted the breast because it’s a meaty portion. Slipped me a thigh instead of the breast. Dirty tricks played by unethical people

Worst Popeyes I have ever been to. I ordered a 2pc. and when I got to the window asked if it was a breast/wing and they said no it’s leg/thigh. I asked them to swap it, they wouldn’t because it was already put in the bag. Not wanting to argue, I just took what they gave me. Got home, red beans and rice were runny, it actually grossed me out so I threw that away. Took a drink of my soda and there were NO bubbles, threw that away. At that point everything went in the trash. Just threw everything away and lost $20. Will never return. YUCK! Bad food and service! Will take my money elsewhere!

Very Disappointed! The lit sign said open and the Google directory said this store was open till 9 pm. We drove up to the window and a man's voice said "were closed" it seemed like the man just woke up from a nap. Then we drove to the lobby and the front door sign said " Due to Short Staffing the lobby is closed please use the drive thru" my wife walked in the store, the door was unlocked, and asked why they are closed. The staff was very rude and said to my wife that she should read the sign. The sign talked about the lobby not the drive thru and no where did it say they closed an hour early. Not professional at all. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Waited 20 min just to get thru the drive thru due to a delivery truck blocking the entrance. Finally got thru and ordered they were out of sweat heat and the lady seamed confused on putting in my order and kept interrupting me asking if I was done with my order yet. I got my food and wanted to ask for honey and the guy at the window turned and walked away and I waited like 7 literal min waiting trying to get his attention just so I can ask for honey finally get home and start eating and everything was wrong with my order I wanted spicy tenders and got all regular not spicy and I wanted a spicy sandwich again not spicy also asked for no pickles and there was pickles overall a very bad experience with this location

I ordered online and I got an email the order will be ready in 30 mins. Straight forward right? Only if. When I got there, they said we're short staffed and so we're cleaning up and not taking any more orders. I said I placed an order 40 mins ago. He said I am sorry you will have to apply for a refund with Popeyes directly. If I had got an email ahead of time, I wouldn't have driven all the way to pick up my food.

The drive-thru is constantly backed up to the Benson Ave entrance. I've attempted to get food from this location 4 times in the past month but whenever I drive by no matter the time of day or night the drive thru is backed up. The dining room is also closed. Go to another location unless you have 30-40 minutes to wait in line and still get home with an incorrect order.

Went Drive Thru today food is usually always pretty good. They said wait 8 minutes for tenders to be cooked employee said park out front got 2 meals kids meal . We got home ready to eat my child's kids meal well the tender was purple and pink not proberly cooked my child had stomach ache and diarrhea we are in nationwide pandemic we don't need food poisoning also. Did try call this location phone number on receipt did not answer left voicemail want full refund Popeyes meals are not cheap and especially very disappointed and possible food poisoning making trip to urgent care now . Hope manager calls me back going email corporate very bad customer service

I’ve downloaded the app to get Popeye chicken deals but it doesn’t work with the Popeyes Upland location on the corner of foothill in Benson. This particular location because there’s no other Popeyes around until you go to a not so nice part of Pomona is extremely busy and is in a small shopping center with odd parking and drive through accessibility. The line is usually an L-shaped and long and stretches out to Benson Avenue which causes a lot of hazards and problems for those trying to get in and out of parking into other stores in the shopping center. I would say out of the 10 times I have visited this location? Seven of them have been incorrect but I always give the benefit of the doubt but I’m really thinking about not going to them at all. You have to ask for everything and I should know better but I instead trust that they will improve with each and every visit. They don’t even pack the food into their containers all the way to the top I generally find it 3/4 to half full. They charge the most in pricing compared to other fried chicken franchises but when they do complete an accurate order and they cook it thoroughly, it’s right on point. Thank goodness I don’t have a hankering for Popeyes very often because overall, it’s been a waste of money. The other night I went and no line… 35 minutes in the drive-through line and they didn’t give me any plasticware to eat my red beans and rice. They were busy but not that busy to have forgotten a freaking fork and some extra pickles on my pricey chicken sandwich. I even asked the cashier, “are you sure everything is in the bag and the kid assured me it wasYou’re right. Take a look at the reviews and check out the lengthy ones like mine. Concerned customers who hold people accountable and want quality for what they pay for it? Have length reviews because it’s worth their time to tell you beware in detail

Don't waste your time. They probably closed anyway. The sign will say they're open. But they'll be closed. The site might say they're open, but they're not. You might even wait in line at the drive thru for 20 minutes like me only to find out they're closed. No sign printed out on the drive thru menu either. Just an employee at the window with attitude because I waved them down for an explanation.
