Love this one. The employees are super nice. The managers are on top of everything. Remodel looks super awesome and the food is always good. Some other del tacos I've been too have had stale taco shells and barely any meat etc. This one has always been very consistent and I go back 2-3 times a month because of this.
Hands down the nicest Del Taco I've been too. The young lady taking orders was very nice and polite and assisted me in adding combinations to my order with no type of attitude seriously much appreciated ?? food was amazing and came out just the way I ordered it:)
I have come here for years. The cashier was dealing with a male Karen when I went there today. She handled herself very well and gave some extra food for having to see the nasty customer. Great customer service!! Dining room is open but not self serve drinks.
I went through the drive thru and ordered a cheese quesadilla. They added chicken and asked why I didn't want the chicken. After double charging me and giving me a soda with no syrup. She gave me attitude for trying to give her back the flat soda. She said "I'll take it this time but next time I can't take it." I told her " then next time don't give me a nasty soda!" So now when I go to the drive thru I get food with hair and mystery particles on it. She is either sabotaging my food or their standards for cleanliness are nonexistent. I do not trust this location and I will not be back.
The store looks great after the remodel! The GM was very friendly and the staff was good, too!
Horrible experience at this del taco in Upland on foothill near the Wal Mart store. This keeps happening and it needs to stop. On Sunday morning Oct 7th 2021 I was harassed at the drive thru by the manager. She wanted me to back up and reset the sensor for the timer, Reset then pull back up. I did so I could pay for the food. I had like 5 items. Nobody around. They were short staffed or just slow. Then she asked me to pull around and she will bring my order out. I said I'm fine right here there is nobody behind me and plus its based on a first come first serve basis. the lady got an attitude with me, which I got recorded, cams in the car. she said that corporate is timing us and we have to keep our numbers down. Which is false because they are telling drive thru customers to pull around to make their numbers look low. I felt like telling her that the issue is between you and corporate, not me the customer. My lawyer says I do not have to move or even back up which can be bad if you hit someone behind. I will address this with corporate and show them the video of the manager yelling at customers and having an attitude, The only reason they keep a timer is so districts can brag about their stores being fast and shows that they can use less workers because it appears that the current staffing is actually meeting the times of service, which is false. Customers don't have to move forward or backwards until the order is ready. If they cannot do this at this establishment, then fire the manager and get someone that can manage better. Harassing the customers and threatening me was ill advised and inappropriate with my kids in the back too. stop harassing the customers and serve them one by one, each car at a time. Unless its 50 tacos, we understand. Its time for a lawsuit and a class action against this owner and establishment. I will contact corporate myself and move forward with this harassment. Even the girl working said I don't have to if I didn't want to. I said thank you. The manager persisted that they get in trouble, which has nothing to do with the customers. Do your job! Tell these workers that you were first, stop harassing you and call corporate, save your receipt and tell them I will contact my lawyer if you continue to harass!
Expanded menu. Never had a bad meal here. Actually quite good. The chicken is terrific. Staff is helpful and courteous. Busy spot. No comparison between taco bell and del taco.
Placed an order for chili cheese fries with extra cheese, and this is the terrible answer! Not sure why there lettuce stands in my food but this needs to be better!
DO NOT GO HERE! Food & service are pathetic... Churros are dry & very little cinnamon, soda is flat, they don't add hot sauce on Postmates & they're always out of something...
