I just don’t like it when they don’t come over and ask if everything is alright. Chips were awful, salad was warm, and burger was way under cooked.
If I could give negative stars I would. I have no problem waiting longer due to staffing issues, but bad service is no excuse. Curbside not available, no problem but you need to put a sign in the parking area saying to come inside. Had to come back and pick up missing items and was accused of lying about it. Then they didn't even apologize when the to go person said yes it was out fault. Then they said that it would be 20 minutes to make the burger and I couldn't wait, so now I have to request a refund online. We are beyond upset!!!
On this particular Friday night, this Chili’s was packed. Thankfully we were able to get a table with a 10 minute wait for four. They were really efficient at getting the next table ready when a group left. I ordered the chili for the first time. I was very underwhelmed. The chili was too salty and had very little meat in it and it seemed over seasoned without enough ingredients to balance it out. For a place that has chili in their name I was expecting more. The service was nice though.
Do not come to the Chili's in Upland in the crossroads shopping center. If you want to go to a good Chili's go to the one in Chino Hills or Rancho Cucamonga.I am completely unhappy with my services here in Upland. I walked in and no one was at the front at the hostess counter to see me. I had to ask a waitress in the bar where's the hostess. She was very blase and acted like she could care less. The host finally came over, and he was blase. He seated me and no one came to take me order.I had to ask him for a server. The server was friendly and got me my drink (that is the El Presidente), it wasn't even full to the rim o (it normally is when I go to Chino Hills or Rancho Cucamonga Chili's). When I addressed it, he said the Manager told them not to fill it. What the heck?Then they brought it to me and brought the glass to me full of ice. Then the drink was going to spill all over the table. I had to ask for another glass. The Manager's name is Cali.I ordered my burger medium rare, when it came it was well done. I had to ask for straws twice. My server was very friendly, but never came back after serving me, to see if I needed anything else. He only asked me when he brought my food.I had to ask the host AGAIN for my server. I got frustrated, asked for a Manager (Cali), and all she said was; she'd take care of the bill. She never asked me did I need anything else nor, did she come back and check on me; nor apologize.No wonder when I walked in here, it was dead. There were hardly any customers. I can see whyI highly recommend if you want to go to Chili's, go the one in Chino Hills or Rancho Cucamonga. The service is 10 times better. I won't be coming back here to the Upland one.
This place was filthy! Food on the floor everywhere splatters on the tvs outside, the menus were caked with food smudges. I sat on the outside patio (because inside was so disgusting) and every single table was stacked with food and dishes. I had to stand and wait for someone to come clean one for me and my family to sit. When I got served I ordered a chicken sandwich the sandwich & fries were cold, the lettuce was brown and there were several french fries that looked chewed on
socks! service was outstanding
Five star last night. SmokeHouse and The 5 Dollar Margherita. Were on point. Service was fast and they were slammed. ??. Way above par for Expediency these days Fast and Friendly.. Thank you..
I know this is a chain, but track with me … they have great steak! I know, hard to believe, given that it’s a chain. But I’ve tried several of the “steak houses” in the area and time after time the steak is not cooked properly. Odd as it seems, my steak is cooked to perfection EVERY SINGLE TIME, at the chilis in Upland. And they have a nice patio for outdoor dining. Give it a try, I honestly don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Food was great and service people attentive. Inside was very crowded so being able to be safer outside was much appreciated!
Happy hour is good but they were all out of Salmon. Servers are always friendly.
