Today my husband and I ordered breakfast at Brandon’s. He used to love eating there, but recently the food (not the service) has taken a turn for the worse. My husband said the omelette was the worst he’s ever had and was served totally cold. He had to send it back. (Something he never does.) I had ordered the breakfast croissant. Normally I love croissants no matter how they are served, whether hot or cold. But this croissant was barely edible. They grilled it to the point where it was flat and burnt tasting. I pushed through it by eating the inside and leaving the dry burnt croissant on my plate. To add insult to injury, our breakfast experience this morning was $27. plus tip. (The service wasn’t at fault.) We decided to scratch Brandon’s off our places to eat. Yuck!
I have been eating from here almost 20 years and the other day was the last time I ever will. I don't know who they hired recently to cook but I had completely cold raw expired meat given to me and my mom had raw egg whites with shells in her omelette so suffice it to say we will never order from here EVER again I also have photo proof.
Such a nice place! The staff are amazing and foods always good! Our favorite waitress is Sandra! We just love her!
Chimichanga. Nowhere on the description did it say corn, or peas? Meat was steamed and chewy when I actually found some.Soda is Huge?
We went to Brandon's Diner. We were greeted by two nice young ladies. The server we had was nice and courteous.. She had to endured a demanding customer from her other table..In the end,, we made the server smile.. The place is very nice and close to the freeways and Arrow Highway.I had a chicken Swiss with bacon, tomatoes, lettuce and a nice warm wheat burger bun. You have 1 choice of sides. Yo u can choose fries, salad, or soup. Today, (Friday) is clam chowder was great.My honey had a steak burrito. The burrito was great.The menu has alot of American and Mexican dishes.They also serve breakfast all day long too. We are planning to go for the breakfast soon.I would recommend this place.
Steak was a little over cooked. Asked for medium and got it well done. Suggest you upgrade from 2 eggs to 3 for steak and eggs. A .15 cent upgrade won't break the bank. However, the food over all the 3 times we have been there is very good. Excellent Bloody Mary's..... Menudo is very tasty.
Had dinner and drinks and it was delicious. The service was outstanding and the food was by far better than Sycamore Inn. Atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Will return soon.
Awesome food and excellent services. They know how to treat their customers as number one priority. Go alone, go with your wife and family, go with your friend(s) or your girlfriend and you will all feel like VIPs. It was my first time there and I love it. Now you know .... the name Brandon's Diner on Foothill Blvd, Upland, stands for excellent.
Great breakfast burritos. I ONLY have one complaint. They have a meat lovers breakfast burrito that has ham, bacon & sausage. I asked to swap out the ham for chorizo & they said NO. IDK if it's cause they have a set price on it but I was extremely disappointed.
Brandon's is always good, and reasonably priced. One of my favorite restaurants.They have one of the best Reuben sandwiches available in southern california.
