The appearance is nice however when you enter your hit with the odor of mold. Beer was fantastic but the martinis well were not that great and bar tender may need some refresher courses.Bread was not fresh served cold. Appetizers were good but the main courses were smothered in olive oil. We had olive oil with pasta not pasta with olive oil.Over all the management needs to taste their food and realize improvements are needed.We will not go back, 160.00 bill waste of money.
This used to be my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, over the last few months each time I visit I have a different experience. Sometimes the food is great like it used to be and sometimes it is not good at all. They have been inconsistent in the quality of the food and they have raised their prices to levels that seem somewhat unreasonable for the location and menu offerings. I expect to pay over $20 for a plate of just pasta (no meat added) in Claremont, but I don't expect that kind of price from a restaurant on a side street in Upland. This location used to have the best chicken fettuccine, but the increased prices and inconsistent quality makes it not worth taking the chance of a less than great experience by dining here. The garlic bread is delicious when it is served hot.Overall I cannot recommend this place anymore, but if you do dine here I hope it is one of the times that they are on their game and the food and service are good.
Waitress was very nice and the restaurant has a cute environment but I wouldn’t eat here again. My friend and I both ordered different dishes and they both didn’t have any flavor. We had to ask for a lot of cheese in order for us to taste anything. The complimentary bread tasted ok but I rather go to the Olive Garden and get my money’s worth as this restaurant is somewhat expensive for something that doesn’t even taste appetizing.
The service was good, the young lady waiting on us was very friendly. I am only basing this review on the Carbonara which I found to be disappointing. As is so often the case the pasta was swimming in a sea of sauce. Doesn't anyone make an authentic carbonara with just eggs, cheese and meat anymore?
Great food and service...one of the best Italian restaurants in town.
Went to this place with high hopes stood outside and waited for the lady to take us you our seats she talked to her coworker for a few minutes before acknowledging us. sat down still with my hopes up. ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and lasagna the food was mediocre and the service was subpar was very disappointed with the food it was very boring and got tired of it fast very overpriced for what is. if I wasn’t hungry I wouldn’t have eaten it. the food from fazolis is better, or if you want a nice experience with Italian food you are way better off going to Cheesecake Factory the food is way better and not as expensive as this place.
Been here a few times and every time the staff is great, the food is delicious and the cocktails are well crafted. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out! Amazing dinner with great service! From drinks to paying the tab everything was amazing! I highly recommend the chicken piccata - but bring your appetite! The bread was a perfect touch, three kinds - all delicious!! Visit soon!
Disappointing dinner tonight. First, you served 3 parties that came after us even before bringing water or bread to our table, but the waitress explained you were short on staff, I understand. Second, your spaghetti Bolognese was sour and acid, do you check your tomato sauce before using it? The Chicken marsala fettuccine tasted good but the fettuccine were overcook, forming a solid sticky mass. You need to cook better than this to get my business
Pricey.... Make sure waiters take down your order correct and that salad comes out before main dish.... I gave food the rating.... Service could be better.... Also don't charge me $4 for 2 little extra salad dressings knowing that our bill was going to be over $200.00 that's very tacky to me.
