I have been going here for such a long time, and every time I travel to the Bay area, it's always a place to dine you'll never go wrong and the cuisine is amazing. I have never eaten anything that was not nice from this establishment, and I have never had that experience.
Crispy pata is very crunchy. My favorite is the liempo. Java rice is a must. Mouth watering. As close to home cooked food as possible.
Oh..men, I'll say if u want to try Filipino food, HIT THIS PLACE. A very warmth and friendly environment
Toppings Too is a favorite go to spot for Filipino food. This is one of several restaurants located in other areas including Toppings Juan in South San Francisco and Toppings Three in Santa Clara.Conveniently located in a relatively quiet area of Union City, CA.Seating is limited given the size of the restaurant although don't let that stop you from enjoying what they have to offer. There are always lines out the door; must be cooking up something sarap for sure. :)Fast and friendly service.I've enjoyed practically everything on the menu between various trips and frequently revisit lechon kawali, inihaw na liempo, crispy pata and grilled tocino.Sizzling sisig will sell out fast; therefore, you may want to call in advance or just stop by to know if it's available. This was the first place in the U.S. I tried Dinuguan rice plate at and it surely didn't dissapoint for an authenitic flavor that I remember when travelling numerous times to the Philippines. Thanks to everyone at Toppings Too and the supporters for making this a great place.
Food is delicious. Finally found a place where there is sizzling steak with java rice <3
Overpriced and very rude and unfriendly service. They also got my order wrong and blamed me for their mistake. Their food and service has really declined... Will never go back again.

Great Filipino food, from crispy para to liempo and more in between. The fried chicken tasted like Max's and the sinigang na hipon tasted like a home-cooked meal. The place is small (4 tables with dividers) and they don't take reservations so you will wait during peak hours but it's worth the wait.
Best Filipino cuisine ever, huge portions, authentic in every way, pleasant and courteous staff, usually quite briskly busy, yet worth the wait, traveling two to three hours just to patronize the exceptional restaurant, I would love to invest to make this restaurant larger, modern, and a restaurant to be envied.
Ordered Lechon Kawali 3 weeks ago and it was crunchy and well cooked. This morning the pork was cut too large around 2” by 2” and was half done. Please ask your cooks to be more consistent and let us know if they need more time to cook the Lechon Kawali properly!
