We were very regular pickup customers of Thai BBQ before today. It’s our anniversary so we thought of celebrating our special day with some dining in. Little did we know that our night is about to become very very stressful. We have a toddler who sees sugar packets and starts opening and eating them. My 2 year old does that at all restaurants and we have always cleaned after ourselves before leaving. This server comes and starts shouting at us saying do not waste the sugar, it’s for use with coffee only. No clue why it was kept in our table when we had not even ordered coffee!! He had not even taken our order and the restaurant was literally empty with just a few ppl for pickup. We decided to leave without ordering due to his rudeness and he was like- “yes, please leave!” My husband went to the counter to give him money for the 4 sugar packets we had used and he started shouting at us again- “never come back again”! Never ever have we ever had someone behave this ways with us, specially with a hungry baby. Please please please don’t ever go there if you have diabetes or have low sugar, this guy will ask you to leave for eating his sugar packets. Never ever take your kid to this place. Better don’t go there ever. Hate this place!!!! Hope there was a way to give zero stars!
Very Good price n u can't complain. The only issue is the remote location.
Finding good food in Union City is difficult. When I saw Thai BBQ everything checked out good reviews, good images decent location. But as I received food it was really lacking any flavor, the meat was tough and the vegetables looked anything but fresh. I guess my search continues.
Since it was a bit late at 8:30PM, I wasn’t able to dine in at this place. However, we were still accommodated. Hence, I was able to taste this very delicious food. Kudos!
Great portions and the food is always good. We always like all of their curry's and the Tom yum is amazing
Not the most authentic Thai food I've ever had, as they are missing out on spices, but still this is my go to restaurant because I love the food portion and price. The flavor is not too bad after all.
Thai BBQ our favorite Thai food in the neighborhood. We eat there regularly we never disappointed, their food always come out good and reasonable price. The place is clean and very good customer service. ?
Looks like owner has changed. Dishes not as good as they used to be. Still decent food overall.
If your hungry its ok to eat here. The beef satay is extremely tender and has an excellent flavor. The pineapple fried rice is also delicious with a balanced flavor profile. I'd definitely come back here again.
