This place has a nice vibe and diverse crowd. Would have given this place 5stars but for the lack of any espresso based drinks. Probably my ignorance and assumed it's a regular coffee shop. But if you like sugary drinks, boba and coffee shop quick grabs you won't be disappointed. I grabbed the cold brew which was good.

Great drinks, sandos, and staff. Definitely coming back.Came on a Tuesday morning and it wasn't too busy and I was able to order right away. They didn't have their full menu available when I went. I ordered a Mclovin sandwich and gangsta's paradise but they didn't have mint so they couldn't make the gangsta's paradise. I asked the barista to surprise me with another drink and he made an In Love with Da Coco for me. The drink has lots of caffeine and was super tasty with a nice coconut taste that isn't overpowering. You have to drink it quick though before the coconut shavings get soggy. The Mclovin was good, their homemade aioli really makes the sandwich tasty.

Gangstas Paradise is soo good! But don’t order through DoorDash because they will 100% forget about your order somehow. First time I waited 35 minutes in the shop for my coffee and sandwich (DD pick-up, I went to the counter to check the status and they forgot/ didn’t have my order), second time took 20 minutes for them up to confirm my order on DD, so it will be about an hour for my coffee to be delivered. It’s really good but ughhh what a hassle ordering with them and likely not reordering again. Hope you have better luck ordering inside.

I used to go to the old coffee shop in this location and decided to pop in while in the area. I really do not know what they did, but the Rick Ro$$ with cold brew was delicious. This is all I had left and should have ordered a large. This place hits all of the marks to satisfy your caffeinated needs.

While I fully respect a private business has the right to refuse service, I was saddened to see a sign on the front door that said NO MASK. NO SERVICE. This is after Alameda county lifted the indoor mask mandate of course. I want to reiterate that I respect their choice as a private business. I’ve been supporting this business since they were on foothill and I will continue to at some point after their policy changes.

The hot coffee was mostly sad foam, and the cold coffee $5.50 for a small. The only reason I'm giving it three stars is because they had an interesting graffiti mural. Save your time and go to a place where the coffee isn't 90% sugar.

Some indoor, 15 seats at 3 large tables. 5 seats without a table and one 3-4 person bench.Music blasting loudly and fans running on a cold day. $5.50 for a speciality latte.

Really good coffee!Creamy and smooth. Super homey and cozy.

The coffee was delicious way better than I what I expected. I must admit I don't like trying new coffee places but this place was a hit. Both my husband and I regretted not getting a large. Ice loves coco and sorta kinda latte ?

I love hippies brew from the first time I went to try it. It has a chill atmosphere inside the cafe shop and delicious coffee. The workers are very kind. The menu is not complicated and very simple to choose from with cool familiar names. I reccomend "Ice luvs coco" or "rick ross". Definitely try the cinnamon toast! It is always a treat to go to Hippies brew!
