I had a Sunday Dim Sum lunch w/ family at this place. Food is about the same as any Dim sum togo/hot food place in super market. I will eat it but won't call it good. There are only 2 person working 20+ tables and 1 lady serving food from kitchen. So you need to have a lot of patience.... BTW, they charge 10cent per togo box. There is an automatic 20% tip on the bill for table of 4 (2 adult+2 kids).
Got Chinese dim sum here, very family friendly and accommodating for my grandpa in a wheelchair and my aunt who is vegan, they made her a custom dish that fit her dietary restrictions
Radish cake was pretty much all flower and no radish. The lobster was only 1 pound and was missing a claw. The chicken lotus rice was very bland. I don't think it was made with glutinous rice.
Food is okay. But waiter has very bad attitude. We ordered five dishes . One turned out to have a taste of the food being spoiled. I tried to warn the waiter about it. I didn't even ask for money back. Just wanted to make sure other people don't receive the same bad food. But he total ignored what I said and walked away without saying anything - not even sorry. And the worst part is that they fixed the tip to the bill total. They force you to pay the tip that they decree and to pay extra for bad service no matter what. You do not get to choose.
Seven of us came for wife's birthday dinner. She has been here a few times with her friends. This time there was almost no fresh lobster, crab, or fish in the tank. We ordered lots of food. We couldn't even finish half of them. Steamed fish, which is one of the most expensive and important dishes in a Cantonese dinner, was too dry. The restaurant was empty through out the whole evening. Service was great since we were about the only customers there. Price was very reasonable. But there are many other better choice of Cantonese restaurants around. I doubt I'll comeback soon. What happened was that the owner used to do the cooking. Now he hired someone else to cook. Apparently, the new cook's skill is not as good as the owner's.
This restaurant is my favorite. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I go the most. The crew is very cordial and the food they cook is so tasty. I am always happy to have a nice dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.
This is clearly one of the finest restaurants in the area. Anytime I come to this place I am awfully glad. They keep their very high level service and the topmost level of meals they serve. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Warmly recommended.
This spot is my favored. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very cordial and the cooking they serve is so fresh and tasty. I am always happy to have a nice dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.
I take my family to this lovely place quite a bit! This is my favorite restaurant to dine. I go to this spot many times. The cooking is great, the workers are helpful and the charge is fair. I enjoy meeting in this spot for a nice lunch.
Tastes pretty much the same as the Mayflower Restaurant that was in the exact same space, same decor, etc. They might have made a few minor improvements but you'd be hard-pressed to tell.At least the kids loved the mushroom soup from one of the banquet sets, the lobsters, while ordinary, were more than acceptably done, the white chicken and the walnut prawns both were fat and ample portions. Hard to complain for a neighborhood restaurant at the local strip mall.
