On top of liking so much of their food, I really appreciate how kind they are in filling my DoorDash orders. I’m a picky eater, & every time I’ve asked nicely for anything, it’s been done. For the record, I just mean little things, not like I asked for a free steak dinner & they were like “sure!” cuz that would be ridiculous. I just mean that they don’t have to be so accommodating with my requests, and it’s really nice that they are.
Stars in Ukiah always a good place to eat good menu with a lot to choose from. I had a patty melt on rye with pepper Jack's cheese it was very good cooked perfect well done. Wife had chicken tenders and we both split potato skins. It was all really good. One of our go-to restaurants when we go through Ukiah. The waitress there at the time was fantastic kept checking on us which you don't get everywhere. I definitely recommend this place.
The food is well made, well prepared. The avocado rolls were good.Some of thebsuaces they had were stale, but the food was fresh.I also had to barry my steak, it was way too chewy no real meat, definatley not choice meat.
Don't let the exterior fool you. The restaurant is nicely appointed inside and very clean. Staff is well trained and do a wonderful job. The meals are very large and well prepared.
I want to offer 5 stars but I reserve the 5th for higher end eateries that we simply don't have around here. In truth, stars restaurant is disguised as a diner but it's more. While the offer traditional American cuisine, their menu goes deeper exploring mexi-fusion and california cuisine favorites. They offer everything you would expect but with a little more refinement than expected. Pleasant staff and family atmosphere to boot. Dinning area features country music.
Food was good,, great service. A little expensive for the type of food you get. Fine dining prices for food you could get at a place like Dennys.
I was sitting in front of the smoke shop one day taking a drag of some dragon balls and all of a sudden I had cops walking up both sides of me because they were going to eat at the restaurant tripped me out but it was cool it's a good restaurant
My favorite family restaurant with many of options and varieties
In the past I have had good experiences at Stars restaurant. But this last visit was not good at all. The service was lacking. No refills of coffee without asking. The wait person did not ask if we needed anything and never came back to check on us. The food was not good. Pancakes where under done and still doughy. Sausage was over cooked and had a hard time cutting it with a fork. The eggs where over cook and crispy not over easy. The manager was to busy flirting with the two lady's seated behind us to help out. No one pick up the money put out to cover the check so I had to stand in line to pay. For the price we paid I would have to say I will not be going back there for breakfast any time soon. Good luck
I am really pleased with Stars Restaurant, I have really enjoyed my meals there over the last year or so. I enjoy the food from there close to once a week these days and they seem to continually improve. I just tried the bbq chicken sandwich tonight and it was delicious. The more I try the more I like.
