The two stars are just basically for the fact that my dirty chai latte tasted good. I don't think it was worth $6.50 for a small iced chai but it did taste good my issue with this place is the customer service none of them were polite none of them seemed happy they were all very just somber looking and weren't polite at all their customer service lacked.

Best coffee place in Ukiah. I love their fun seasonal drinks, and the regular espresso drinks too. Such a friendly staff. We always come here when visiting family in town. They also have good baked goods as well.

Well….. if it was the last place in the world to get coffee I would give up coffee. We were traveling thru on our way back to Oregon. I always try and find local coffee shops to support…. Well I was immediately asked if I had a mask and I said “NO” the woman just shoved a mask in my face. She didn’t ask me politely, she was a jerk about it. I said “No way!” And left to go spend my money somewhere else! Sad. And stupid!!! What the F….we have been all over California and everyone has been super awesome to us. Anyhoo… that is my opinion.

Cashier said she would bring to table, but had to wait for only open table to be cleaned & then she called out my name from my debit card! As she did NOT ask my name I consider that an invasion of my privacy. Definitely a hip place to have coffee & good food, but lacking in sanitation!

We were driving through Ukiah and stopped to charge the EV. Is there someplace nearby to get a good coffee drink while we are waiting? Hmmm, Black Oak Coffee Roasters looks promising. Well, it turned out to exceed all our expectations. My cappuccino was prepared perfectly. The espresso base was delicious and the foam was exactly as it should be, rich and thick and just the right temperature. Elaine's matcha latte was just as good. We were so impressed we purchased beans to go and took advantage of the buy 3 get 1 free holiday sale. A bag for us and bags for our friends back home.Staff here are friendly and helpful. From the looks of the many happy customers, it's obvious that this is a popular local hangout. If you are local you probably already know about this place. If you are passing through town and want a great cup of coffee, skip Starbucks and head to Black Oak.

Very friendly with great coffee! Their coffee is the real deal. Bold and Flavorful! ☕️

Just came in here with my brother, both of us really needing a bathroom and a long drive pick-me-up. The drip coffee was fast and tasty and the two employees there tonight were absolute champs. They were polite and calm even though we rushed in 5 minutes before they closed, engaged in coffee convo steering us to 3 great choices, and took excellent care of us in the baked goods area (super tasty treats). I've been here several times before and it's always good, I'm just not really a review guy, but someone's gotta shout out those two employees tonight. Thank you very much, you made our day.

Great coffee and the vegetarian burritos were fantastic. Loved the cup carrier design.

Asked for less sweet and they did just perfect!

Stopped here for a coffee and snack on a road trip and very glad we picked this place. The mushroom breakfast sandwich and bacon breakfast burrito were delicious, the americano was excellent and the service was wonderful. Definitely will be coming back when we are in town.
