This Mediterranean-cuisine restaurant is just the right level of elegance and ambiance to make any meal special. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Two of us had the chicken paillard salad, and our friend had the Kebabs Two Ways. Everyone agreed it was a delicious lunch with the perfect atmosphere to visit and celebrate a birthday.
Service was good but slow. Cocktails slow to the table, 15-18 minutes after ordering. We had reservations, good thing place was packed. Suggestion for diners to be limited to 90-120 minutes seatings. 2 large tables slowed second seating reservations. You can't go hungry with the menu, something for everyone. The evenings halibut special was delicious and flavorful, rack of lamb consistently tender and perfectly finished and the two way kebabs bring you back. Zov's meals are worth the wait but think about limiting first seating dining time.
We have always loved Zov's Bistro - the service, the ambience, the flavors,... Our server was especially wonderful this time. Favorite dishes: the mezza platter, lentil soup, calamari, and the kebob. I always like to stop over at the bakery to take something home for later. Zov's is a must every time we are in town!
