The food was delicious and made exactly how I ordered it! The staff was helpful since it was my first time and made sure before I sat down to eat the table and chairs were cleaned and sanitized. Food was ordered and not a long wait time to receive it. My new go to place for Breakfast and lunch!
What a beautiful way to start our day as we relaxed on the patio enjoying our coffee and treats. My hubby enjoyed a Turkish coffee for the first time and was impressed. I sipped on a gorgeous utopia latte made with rose water and loved every bit. The atmosphere was quaint and inviting. This is definitely a place I'd like to visit again and again.
It was my first time at this establishment after moving here from the Fresno area. I had previously worked at a bakery there so I came in because the cakes at the counter looked so beautiful! While the taste of the cake was delicious the customer service was a little odd.I was not greeted when I walked in as the staff were in conversation, but I walked up to the register and I asked for a recommendation of the cakes. The person helping me referred me to a girl who was sitting up against the counter and said to her “since you’re not going anything, you can recommend cakes, I guess”.She walked with me to the cake display and she could not really describe the flavors of the cakes to me in great detail and told me things along the lines of “I guess that one is good”, “I don’t think that one is good”, or “I don’t know what that one is”. I did have to choose based on what looked good, but I guess I wanted some more description of what was available. While I do have bakery experience, I do not have experience in a place that had European desserts and I felt as though I was not given a good description of the products. While my choice was delicious, I felt as though the customer service could have been better. It did not feel professional and I felt as thought I was interrupting a conversation versus being helped. I wish the staff had a little more knowledge of the product since I came in with little to none. I am hoping to return again to try the other cakes but I think I will have to do my own individual research on what the cakes are and not rely on the knowledge of the staff.
Had a delicious meal with family post Memorial Service. Staff was kind, friendly and not in a rush to get rid of us. Family healing/bonding/reminiscing time. Utopia Latte with Rose ? water & pistachios was A-ma-zing!!!
Cute and cozy atmosphere with very good sandwiches
One of the freshest omelettes I've ever had. A sensory delight! It's the small details that make this place feel special.
My SO and me came here Saturday morning with little rain and atmosphere was calm and not so many people around. We ordered an omelet and I had the French breakfast platter with Turkish coffee. In addition we also ordered a potato poacha. The French breakfast had a variety of options like garlic sautéed Brussel sprouts, eggs, croissant, butter, jam, fruit, French fries and some unknown dipping sauce. The omelets were excellent too and all portions were adequate. The best part for me was the ice of brie cheese. I like strong coffee so the Turkish coffee was a delight. Truly memorable for a first time. The poacha was fluffy but it was a bit too dense for my liking.Overall it was a good experience and I came back today to try other menu items. The honey and latte cake, Baklava and BLT sandwich with a Cortado. So happy this place is near my job and house.
The food here is great. Good flavor over all and the service was on point. I had the Santa Ana omelette which has sausage, cheese, pico de gallo (not spicy)but refreshing and balanced taste. bread and fruit..the orange juice taste fresh, not too sweet not too acidic, just the right balance. The Turkish coffee, not a big fan, but then not really a coffee drinker. However, for any coffee aficionado, this is perfect! My only qualm with this place is the seating arrangement. I understand that the rain does not help with seating but as we were finishing our food, new patrons walked and some in larger groups. The issue is that the newly arrived customers hovered over those finishing their meal making very uncomfortable and rushed.
I've been here twice. Halal-Turkish cafe in convenient, high-traffic area of Tustin District. Enjoy the food and drinks, not so much the customer service unfortunately.I ordered an iced coffee...I asked if they have them and the cashier confirmed they have iced Americano, iced latte. So I ordered an iced Americano with a splash of oatmilk. Splash. (see the pic for yourself)They sent out a HOT Americano. When I told them I ordered an iced, the barista said my order says hot, then the cashier who took it, came to me, from behind the counter and said to me I never ordered iced?!I'm with my son who even heard me and said he heard it. What happened to customers being right or just apologizing and making the order correct?Chicken pesto sandwich was delicious and rosewater lemonade is very goodI won't fault their food. But disappointed to be treated like I didn't know what was up. Most women in hijab will understand what I mean.
The pink tea was the star.. everything else was ok-ish... Have been to better breakfast places.
