Coffee is decent. Service is ok, not overly friendly. Dark inside and can get crowded. Avocado toast is delicious as are breakfast burritos.
We wanted to find a local small business and found this. They bake fresh goods daily and roast there own coffee beans. It is located in a small plaza in Tustin. They have indoor and outdoor seating avail. There were quite a few people working on their lap tops. We ordered a hot latte, 2 matcha lattes, and a zebra blended mocha, a blueberry muffin (GF), Strawberry lemonade scone (GF), blueberry scone, and a bacon breakfast burrito. The pastries were fresh and delicious. The breakfast burrito was o.k. The match lattes needed more matcha. The zebra mocha was yummy.I will definitely come back to try the rest of the baked items and coffee.
So good! There was no line at all, and food was really good. The only reason I gave 4 stars was the Tortilla was very thin and everything fell out but other than that really good
I really love this friendly neighborhood spot. I've been a few times for their interesting iced coffees and breakfast. I'm a quiche for breakfast type of gal.. and they have a variety. Not a big fan of the frittata however... a little on the dry side. Customer service is always great here. It's been my go to for a quick breakfast and coffee on the weekends! Can't wait to try more of their menu!
This is one of Tustin’s hidden gems, and you owe it to yourself to check it out. Tucked away in a small shopping center on 17th and Bryan, The lost bean offers gourmet coffee drinks, pastries, and other snacks. I like it because it feels cozy and welcoming. The decor is warm and eclectic but everything just feels right. The prices can be slightly on the high end, but I don’t mind them from time to time.I go here to meet with friends or clients when I want a change of pace from the cookie-cutter one-on-every-corner coffee shops all over Orange County. When you come here, you’ll enjoy your drink if you stay, and you might even strike up a conversation with the people hanging out. This has happened more than once to me, and the chats are always interesting. In my opinion, by far the best drink is the Monkey Mocha. The flat white is pretty good if you want something more “traditional.” My wife likes the Zebra Mocha. The staff is always friendly, and they seem to enjoy working there. They have decent wifi and a few tables you can work from if you get to find an empty one. Going back to what I said about the friendly locals, sometimes you can even share a table with a stranger, and it works out just fine. It’s definitely a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts.
What a GREAT FIND! And Truly ORGANIC COFFEE! I went to one of those other places first …. The ones with a star but they did NOT have an already brewed organic coffee and they informed me that once THEY put any of their organic beans through their grinders …. The fact that the previous beans were conventional… would contaminate any ORGANICS! So in my search for TRULY AVAILABLE ORGANIC morning coffee! I found THE LOST BEAN!!! Yay!!!Want organic go! The lost bean is found!
Delicious coffee and food. I love supporting local small business. The place is usually hopping, so there can be a line. In my experience the staff have always been warm and friendly. Can't wait for my next visit!
Been a fan of LB since high school! Warm atmosphere and amazing study space. Anytime i’m in town, Lost Bean is a must.
Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Ordered a drip coffee and "La Paz", their signature drink. Drip coffee was pretty good, nice and bright, served hot. Was disappointed in la paz. Tasted essentially like warmed milk with a whisper of espresso and caramel. Not bad tasting but expected more out of a $5 signature drink.
Met a friend with his dog who is the Lost Bean dog because they frequent the place so much & everyone knows them. Great food. Very nice service. Outdoor tables on a perfect day with new friends.
